I visited a no wind day’s morning time, around 11am. After the light house, it’s a sandy unpaved road but not too narrow. You can choose the driving position of your car to avoid holes. About 5 minutes ride after the light house road, there is a quite big free parking area near by the beach. There is a good wooden stairs to get to the from the parking area. It’s a white fine sand and there are only a few people who were sunbathing. The diving there was fantastic. No wind, safe and easy. There were many local divers with extremely good equipments (I had simple, basic diving kits). I felt to be on a secret with such quiet people and no family in the middle of September. I highly recommend as a diving spot. It’s also good for snorkeling. Very windy day visit. Nice location. Puppy friendly beach. Zero for easy public transit access. No public toilets or any facilities. Clean with large garbage bins available at the entrance to new, far safer staircase access to the beachfront. A favourite of Scuba divers and snorkeling. Conditions choppy at time of visit so no persons in the water. Water quality is monitored and conditions posted. No lifeguards at time of visit as it was a weekday in slow tourist season (May 2025). Dirt track to the area with parking spaces in cutouts areas to the side of the dirt track. Der Strand ist etwas abgelegen, abseits der Touristenströme. Als ich da vorbeikam war nicht so viel los Beautiful sandy beach, best for snorkeling Sandy, spacious beach, not crowded at all, but the surrounding (landscape, buildings) is a bit left out Visited only because La Garita was closed due to the floods, as well as Tufia. Went here but the surrounding was like from an apocalyptic film. And it didn't seem particularly clean either, visited with children but there are more beautiful beaches than thisbone unfortunately. Una playa para desconectar, apartada de todo. Buen sitio We parked a few hundred meters before the sand and went down to see the ocean from the cliffs. Quite nice view! It seems like a popular place for fishing. There was several parking spots available where we parked. Spiaggia dove passare momenti di relax Dobre miejsce na kąpiel w oceanie. Great place to visit around 9-10 am. Just be aware that the wind could steal a chilf Bien Einer der wenigen Natur-Sand-Strände auf Gran Canaria. A kind of nice with less stones than elsewhere - so the water is easily accessible. Wind protected. Beautiful snorkeling. Don’t expect anything fancy though, the area is rather rough. Very dangerous stones at the inlet to the water, they are invisible in waves! We both hit our feet :( Bonito sitio. Hemos llegado andando desde Arinaga. Playa ancha y larga. Tranquila y perfecta para descansar y tomar el sol. Spent a full day there with kids. True gem. Snorkeling on sides if the is possible. Also perfect for a walk around the coast. You have to drive 10 minutes to get to this location on a gravel road. The is ok, colder than Las Palmas. There is no facilities to buy anything, no shops or restaurants nearby. Great place for snorkelling even on a cloudy and rainy day. Clear and shallow water with a lot of fish including sepia and black scorpion fish.
