A beautiful location. Fantastic views with rolling hills. The tables outside were comfortable. We had a pot of tea with scones. Very delicious. I was very impressed. A gem easily missed. Literally on the roundabout as you come off the motorway. It's hidden behind the slip road. spot! The food was fresh and filling and the atmosphere was very cosy! The coffee portions are very generous and I would the veggie special! The has browns were also a standout but would have liked 1/2 more in a portion. The tea room itself is very pleasant and comfortable. We were sat at a sharing table which is a idea to make better use of a table that can seat 12. The from the was good. The food and coffee was quality and well presented. The biggest issue for me is the price. £40 for two breakfasts and two coffees is in my opinion very overpriced for a tea room near Kettering. Very busy place. The food looks good. Just managed to get a cold drink and cake. Handy off J 7 for a journey west or east. place with equally lovely, and friendly, staff. Very nice coffee, selection of hot and cold food. I stumbled across here whilst out on my bike, riding a loop out of Kettering. Well worth a visit. Hidden gem - the are great, so is the food. Enjoyed every bite in a cosy corner with fresh and hot food. Scones and quiche are my favourites. tea serves a bit of everything special of this farmshop to enjoy. By far my favourite tea ( and I’ve had some pretty fancy ones ) the portions were generous tasty and thoughtful, my partner had the salmon special, food was fresh and tasty . was also accommodating and , very efficient . I highly and will be back ! Was brought here on my birthday for tea which was wonderful. The view out the window was very picturesque. We did have to a while for the food to be prepared but it was so worth the wait, everything was fresh and tasty. We were quite late in the and the choice of scones was limited so we chose one of each and shared so we all had a taste of each and I can honestly say they were all delicious. My only criticism would be the tiny cups of coffee one cup is included in the price but it's so small and needed to order a second cup. I would definitely coming here. I have never been here before but will definitely be back! There is so much on the menu that has gluten free alternatives, I was spoilt for choice! I opted for jacket potato beans and salad this time and even that came out with a little gluten free flag. Honestly it’s the small things that make all the difference, it reassures me that, number one the server listened and number two they take it seriously. Next on my list to try is the gluten free tea! We visited Glebe Farm Tea Room on 27/06/2025 at around 1pm, it was a completely spontaneous visit after googling places to eat in Kettering while visiting the area and we're so glad we found it! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with smiles and friendly, polite staff, despite the tea room being quite busy. We asked if we could sit outside with a view overlooking the farmers' fields, and it was absolutely lovely. The food we ordered was amazing (see photos!), and even though it was busy, we only waited about 20 minutes. Everything was fresh and delicious. We highly a visit , a hidden gem with beautiful views and fantastic service. Hidden gem! Stunning views of the rolling hills and excellent despite being a little slow. The brunch menu is extensive, with options. But, I highly the smoked salmon and scrambled egg bagel. Highly enjoyable eating/breakfast experience at Glebe farm. I’ve never seen a place so busy on a Saturday morning ! The was (expectedly) slow and is reflected in the rating. The food was excellent (I enjoyed the breakfast bap) as was the Vanilla latte. It was a rather wet & misty day when I visited, but I imagine the sweeping vistas across the North Northants Country Countryside outside while having your breakfast would be stunning. Highly recommended. I was not expecting much from the drive up but came due to Google reviews. Wow, I was not expecting such excellent food and fabulous views. The tea is one of the best I have had. It's better than many expensive hotels. Scones could be the best I have tasted. My dilemma now is when will l be back on the A14. Is two hours too far for an tea? Dining out should be a pleasant experience, but unfortunately, this establishment fell short in major ways I was really looking forward to coming based on all the reviews. I can only assume that something was wrong ie shortages this day. We experienced excessive times for both seating and food delivery. We waited a lengthy time to be seated, however this was our choice and was loosely informed of the time. This initial delay would have been more than acceptable if the pace had improved once seated. However, another significant waiting period occurred before orders were food arrived. Waiting over an hour for meals, especially after the initial wait, was unacceptable we arrived there at 13:10 and left at 15:30. There was loads more I could nit pick at but as for first experience this was enough to prevent me from going back in a hurry. Glebe Farm Tea Room on junction 7 is well worth a visit. meals and an excellent selection of cakes. We stopped for lunch on Saturday and followed it up with some cakes. Very nice attractive clean restaurant and sun terrace. Delightful and service Sadly it is closed on Sundays and doesn’t stay open late so the late night traveler will have to until they reach the M6 We try and time our visits to family in Ely so that We can stop off here at least on our outward journey. Not overly cheap but not extortionate either First visit to this tea shop and was worth the journey (there are several more local, previously frequented tea shops). Plenty of seats, well spaced out and views over the countryside. was efficient and friendly. Food was well cooked and tasty and only dropped a star as portion size was smaller than expected, given it’s title of Big Brunch. Also, for £12, we thought one hot drink would be included but that wasn’t the case. Added bonus was the opportunity to buy some cakes to take away, the on-site antique shop and the realisation that sheds are a lot more expensive than I thought 😬. Ordered a breakfast bap asked for bacon and sausage well done and no butter on roll .arrived egg yolk hard and set , bacon dripping in grease and sausage looked like it had been boiled . Waited for a while for sauce . My grandson had the same but no egg , was not offered a replacement for the egg . His bacon also dripping in fat and his sausages were black . Unfortunately I had already started eating mine befire his.so we couldn't swap . In my opinion the sausage was not of quality didn't look or taste very meaty . At no time did anyone ever ask if it was OK even though we went and left most if it on the table. Haven't been here for a while won't be going back .. Just got home from having one of the best Sunday lunches with my mum. The were great. The was quick. The food was delicious. The location and view is lovely. Will definitely be going again.
