Unde parchezi mașina e amenajata ca un fel de curte, a comerciantului care vinde acolo, abuziv. Are si o poarta de acces .... care e posibil sa o închidă, eu am găsit-o deschisă. Iar daca se întâmplă acest lucru, e aproape imposibil sa mai vizitezi cascada. Poate citesc si autoritățile acest lucru sa rezolve cu acea amenajare abuzivă, iar daca e legală, sa facă alt traseu către cascadă. Comerciantul s-a lăudat ca are produse bune locale.... cand am vrut sa gust din brânză, instant nu mai avea brânză. Oare chiar sunt bune... cred ca păcălește doar turistul... eu înainte sa cer sa degust, i-am explicat ca știu gustul la o brânză bună, la o brânză de vaca, la o brânză de oaie... si din acel moment nu a mai avut nimic la degustare. Acum voi care citiți trageți concluzia. This is only 5 minutes away from Guest House Șipot. The to the is good, but not great. The is a small one, but it is still worth a visit. Overall, the Șipot is a nice place where you can enjoy nature. Nice waterfall, it is tall enough to make it wonderful to see. There is a parking space near the waterfall, you can leave the car at a crossing and then you can follow the sign to the waterfall. You will pass through a pension yard or something to get into the forest following a trail to the waterfall. There's no bench or something there for sitting and the trail is a bit steep in some places but it is doable for any fit-ish person (we went there with our 5years old son). You do about 5 minutes from the car to the waterfall. If you are in the area and you have some time it worth seeing. You can see it from the car park. Very nice waterfall, although there was very little water on a hot day. Getting to this place is what's problematic, single way gravel road, stop at a private residence, where you have to go through a gate to find the trail... Would not have found it if the owner did not happen to be outside to give me some verbal instructions only in Romanian... Nice, cozy, probably more spectacular during spring or the rainy season. But I enjoyed it. To get there you actually have to pass through someone's yard. Just follow the signs starting from the main national road. Not so easy to reach but once you did it then you are enjoying Acces dificil cu mașina dacă este aglomerat. Drumul foarte îngust. Noi am fost dimineață și nu am întâlnit alta mașină. Merită văzută.
