Located in beautiful surroundings, Cabana Groapa Seacă offers great options for enjoying nature, be it a 20 minute drive to transalpina ski resort or one of the numerous trails that cross the area. The addition of wifi is good considering there is no cell phone coverage, the rooms are clean and well equipped considering the remoteness, as is the shared kitchen. The staff is friendly and helpful, and at night you can enjoy the company of fellow tourists in the cosy lobby, or have a splash in the hot tubs with friends. Great location for summer hikes! Quite a considerable number of trails start from the cabin, so going on a hike has never been easier ;) also they accept dogs but bear in mind they also have their own dogs and cats there Really nice stay. Unfortunately, the rooms are small and overpriced in comparison to similar places, some even closer to the slopes. The walls are also very thin (you can hear the conversations in the other room) and bathrooms are not always in great shape. We returned here after our first time because the place used to have a nice traditional restaurant but that's also not available anymore. A kitchen is available for guests though.
