I only stopped for late lunch on my way to Greece. This family business is super nice! Everyone was so friendly and helpful, I was really amazed! Their kitchen was closed when I came, but they opened it up for me! Everything I are was home made and absolutely delicious! Next time I pass that way, I'll definitely come again to enjoy the meal and a break in this wonderful company! Lovely location, great for short hikes and wonderful staff: relaxed, polite, hospitable, prompt. The room was clean and spatious, but lighting could have been better (do note, though, that the place is powered by a small hydro-generator). We had heating for the 2 centigrade July night, which was nice. Lovely courtyard and an exciting trout pond at the back end of the property. Wheelchair access is challenging, but I think there might be potentially accessible rooms in the small building in the back. Limited mobile service coverage. Unbelievable place -Cabana Mija !!!!!!!!! Mr. Allen and Mrs Monica are very hospitable, attentive, kind. This hotel is located in such a remote place where the sound of rivers, waterfalls and coniferous forests. We were filled with natural energy, rested from phones and the Internet, we were with a 2-year-old boy, there is a playground where children can spend time and play. We came from a Gcc country and were very pleased, this place is like a fairy tale. The room was clean, the bed and towels were clean, the water was always hot, you can drink from the tap, it's like a health elixir in Cabana Mija ! Food traditional we like it , all the family were very friendly!!! Me and my husband stayed at this charming cabin in the wood surrounded by nothing but nature and peace. The cabin itself is located between 2 rivers that provide water and electricity for the cabin so while this is not a luxury holiday, when you visit Cabana Mija, you are not there for a 5 star Hilton hotel but for your date with nature. Falling asleep with the sound of the river is just awesome. We stayed for a week and the food was the best ever, you should try the Romanian breakfast, dinner and the fresh fish from the pond. Remote, no cell coverage. Quiet, cozy, great food, fresh fish from pond, great service. Parking on premise.
