It was a lifesaver! We stopped for some food, and ended up staying the night, and it was the best decision on our family trip. Fantastic prices, really good food (and really generous portions), comfortable rooms, hospitable staff. We weren't able to use the swimming pool, which looked awesome. I highly recommend the place to anyone who want to get much more than they expect from an inn. We stopped here for lunch and were a bit disappointed by the experience. The place was clean and quite big (not the terrace though). The food however was average, and there seemed to be a staff shortage - we waited for more than an hour for our food. The laydies' restroom was also comically tiny... It is true that they have a - which was full at the time we arrived, but I can't say much as our sole purpose there was to eat lunch. They need more staff in order to have more time for the clients and for the quality of the food. We waited more than one hour for a food that was not even cooked well. Also, there are some rules for the pool, but probably it needs people to take care that the rules are obeyed. Its faster to drive up to Petrosani, eat there and come back to the on a Thursday at 4pm Shame on owners for offering food but with a 2 hour wait line. When you have kids its preatty hard to deal with. How hard it is for fry some potatoes and grill some meat?! Shame.... not to return here Nous sommes toujours bien accueillis. The atmosphere is pretty cozy and the staff relatively friendly. Unfortunately the wait time is much longer than desired. You can expect waiting around one hour and It also takes a bit of a while to wait for a waiter to come take your order. Stopped here to enjoy the during the week and was lucky to be the only ones there. Ordered food too: 2 virsli (absolutely delicious) with fries and garlic sauce 4 mici with mash and mustard, bang on. Nice portion of gulas soup Chicken escalop with golden potatoes tasted home made Chicken live with lemon was amazing. Kapia pepper salad was the best Bonus round!! Please order a portion of papanasi, cant recommend it enough, spectacular. As for the pool, not very cold, clean and well maintained. Clean toilets. Friendly staff. P.S. I see a lot of people complaining about the long wait for meals, ours was 20 minutes, but we were alone. That being said, if people expect home cooked meals, it's unreasonable to expect fast food timing. Lovely food, lovely restaurant and service. Good prices. Thank you Top We travelled from Scotland to visit this place with a Romanian friend. We tried the papanasi and it was one of the best made. Service was great our food was delivered within 20 minutes. The food is good, but the service is horrible. Forgetting things we ordered, our food took 2 hours to arrive. If I weren't part of a larger group I would have left. For the first time in my life I did not give a tip.
