Unfortunately, we were unable to enter the castle, as it appeared to be open exclusively for pre-announced groups. This limitation was frustrating, and we were left with no option but to take a walk around the perimeter fence. Navigating our way to the was a challenge in itself, as there was a lack of clear directions on how to get there and where to park. The overall experience left us feeling bewildered and underwhelmed. It's unfortunate that we couldn't explore this historical site as we had hoped. From a distance the looks nice, thats as far as you get. No parking allowed, private property. Beautiful castle. It is normally closed to the public and is accessible only on special occasions. Worth taking advantage of those if possible. It is worth walking up to it even if closed, the views of the surrounding vineyard are lovely.
