Beautiful place, like from a postcard. The rooms are nice and very clean. Breakfast room is full of light and the selection is good. Very good value for money. The garage is free to use and even has charging for vehicles (charged separately, a bit pricey). Super location to stay over on the way to/from Austria (or to visit Würzburg). Clean, friendly, with EV charging points in the garage charging a very reasonable rate, good breakfast, train to Würzburg leaving regularly and only taking 10 minutes. There is not much to do in the village; not even a supermarket, but this is no problem given the proximity to a major city. We will definitely be back! It was a one night stay with my husband and 2 sons. The staff were friendly and helpful. We were late to arrive, so they left our key and room number at the reception, which we really appreciated. The room was okay to stay for a night, not that spacious. However, it was inconvenient that there were 3 pillows for a room booked for 4 people. Moreover, the rooms were not sound proof. You could hear all the sounds from rooms next to yours! Someone had alarm on in the next room at 5 in the morning, which also woke me up! Also the hotel is located next to a church, where bells are ringing every half an hour starting from 6 in the morning, so you wouldn't be able to sleep anymore after 6! It was a tiring night, not enjoyable 😔 Amazing location, with great architecture and an amazing inn with a really kind owner and the best staff! The only con one can have about it was the city church bell which is basically at the window but if you’re not used to sleep late it’s quite good to wake you up for the breakfast; which itself was a thing to write home about! Overall the best experience I had in a while To top things off, there is a greek restaurant close enough by car( 6 minutes ) which did keep the kitchen open at the late time we arrived and had the best greek food I had in quite some time. Strongly recommended ! Very clean and warm welcome from the owners. A small family business, a little gem near main highway. Don't want to forget that amazing breakfast buffet 😋.
