Garden Terrace, Dublin Airport T1 Airside IDL Mezz
Dublin, Ireland Bar & grill
Garden Terrace offers a convenient option within Dublin Airport, but be aware of mixed reviews regarding food quality and pricing. Consider it for a quick bite or drinks if time is short, but manage expectations and double-check your order. Located airside in Terminal 1, this bar and grill uses QR code menus. Be prepared for higher airport prices and potentially long wait times during peak travel hours. Check your order carefully before consuming. The burger wasn't great quality and the bun was toasted so much it was like cardboard. I'd rather live through the Great Famine than having to endure a meal here again. Whilst I appreciate the price is likely to be higher whilst in the airport, 20euros for a burger and chips was a bit over the top. Delicious food and top-notch service. Thank you, Tudor, for your kindness and professionalism – you made everything better! The staff were very helpful, the food let them down. For us Irish this is generally where the holiday begins. There's always a buzz. The staff are friendly and hard working but it seems they are short in numbers. I definitely feel there should be more staff. Being gluten intolerant I was glad to see they have a gluten-free beer on tap, a citrus flavoured IPA The Full Irish, mid. Guinness can’t go wrong. Croissant with Jam hard as a rock. I ordered a poached egg, it was over. Hash brown eh Try another restaurant Least expensive tea in the airport - but a cup of tea still costs €2.95 snd the wait is long (>15 mins from payment)! The website ordering system doesn’t give you an option to takeaway or dine-in. A nosy place. Some staff are friendly. I had Fish and Chips and it was abysmal. The low-quality fish was floury, mushy and entirely unsalted, while the batter was too thick, doughy and gave the feeling of chewing on an old piece of wet cloth. Not sure if this even qualifies as food or just matter. The fries were unsalted, too, but at least edible, the pea puree I decided not to try. I'd rather live through the Great Famine than having to endure a meal here again. Never coming back, I will also try to campaign for a forced closure of this business. 1/5 Ordered dinner here before returning home. Whilst I appreciate the price is likely to be higher whilst in the airport, 20euros for a burger and chips was a bit over the top. The burger wasn't great quality and the bun was toasted so much it was like cardboard. Accompanied by the hand full of chips, I was not overly impressed and would have probably complained if not on the clock for a flight. On the plus side, seemed friendly enough and the Hop House was very good So the layout has changed, and you need to scan a QR Code in order to see the menu. The app is responsive and the images on-screen are promising- though at the prices they promise more than was delivered, which was admittedly in very quick time. I had fish and chips- with a flat layer of sparse chips that were less than lukewarm. Disappointing, though the staff were very helpful, the food let them down. The app took for two pints and 2 dinners, I paid for two pints but they gave me 2 half’s! Spoke to who I was told was the manager. I doubt she was the manager, she clearly has no management skills, after going through my order as I used table service, she seen the discrepancy and said oh, I tipped them, obviously not. So, I tipped the exact amount which was the price difference between a pint and half pint? Insult to injury.. served Birra Moretti in a Guiness glass… oh yeah, top marks Lovely restaurant for before a flight—wide range of starters, sides and mains, not to mention the bar as well. Good service, food was delicious and came out quickly. It was busy enough, but and food was still quick. I had a wonderful experience at Garden Terrace. The atmosphere is pleasant, well-maintained, and very relaxing. I would like to give special recognition to Tudor, who served us with great kindness and professionalism. He not only provided excellent but also keeps the place clean and organized, which makes a big difference in the overall experience. Unless your taste buds are absolutely absent, don’t order any food. It’s been the cheapest tasting food in my airport experience. Juts go for a beer or a drink, but food it terrible and way overpriced. We had such a wonderful evening thanks to Tudor. He was attentive, recommended some amazing dishes, and made sure our glasses were never empty. Truly outstanding service! 🍗🍟 Great experience at Garden Terrace, Dublin Airport T1 Airside IDL Mezz!
