First class guided by Laura who speaks good English. Fantastic resource for Ribadavia that explains the making process well and it's historical importance. Some nice interactive exhibits including the grape essences. My favourite was the video about the press and the of the cave like cellars. The building oozes with history from 11th Century when monks started to produce for San Martiño de Pinario Monastery in Santiago de Compostela. making in Ribeiro goes way back before to the Roman period. I strongly recommended a of this fascinating, historic Museum. One improvement for future is the informational boards should be in English, the video of the press is however in English. PS.There's a new exhibition about the relationship between and the Camíno de Santiago which again is fascinating but it needs to be in English. They also organise tastings, cultural events and concerts which take place outdoors in the terrace in front of the main entrance. Really interesting and modern museum. They have English and German information sheet for each room. The staff was amazing. Really nice views from the monastery to the valley. Excellent museum. Not busy and free entrance. Would be even better if they had a shop / bar also to buy and/or try local wines. Well worth the visit. Informative, interactive and thoroughly engaging. A great (free) museum that really does justice to the fantastic wines of Galicia. Curious about making? That’s the place to answer your questions! A very well thought through museum with information about all the regions in Galicia, the different types of soils, grapes, weather and best of all the history of the process of making exceptional wines. The museum is free of charge and a must for anyone, lover or not. The information they display is in various languages and at the end of the second visual display a guide takes you down to the cellars to tell and show you where the process of making the continued and finished. This is also where you finish the and leave from the dark cellars out into the sunshine. ☀️ Absolutely amazing experience, very interactive, with VR sets, projections and loads of information about the wines from Galicia and super friendly staff. Highly recommended! Free entry and really friendly staff. After the tour we drunk some in the restaurant with a picturesque view😍 10/10 would recommend Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
