However, this restaurant definitely has got stunning view of Rio Miño — so get the best table, the ones by the window overlooking the river. Book ahead as it seems the whole village goes there on weekends. Limited menu means a lot here because the quality of each dish is great, presumable it's also what helped create the smooth table service. Even when one waiter was busy they came back to help within minutes. Perhaps the only wait was for the bill which caused a bit of a queue seemingly because each had to be manually added up at point of paying. Great view and really good meat quality and low prices. I totally recommend the churrasco. And desserts are homemade. Terrific place. We ordered the mixed grill, fried fish, salad, French fries, and 2 drinks -- 42€! Great value for the money. The view over Ribera Sacra is incomparable. Friendly people, clean bathrooms, good coffee, excellent flan. Looked like a good selection of quality local wines, too. Wow. What a place. If you are a meat person, this is where you need to be. The churrasco was excellent & only 13€. Local Mencia wine at 6€ a litre was a great idea. We indulged by ordering the chuleton. It was huge and memorable. Service is excellent, and the view across the Miño was the cherru on the cake. If you like chupitos, the hierbas was fabulous. T Bone steak was amazing, salad and cured meats 1st up were a delightful start, service was spot on. A great find on our day’s journey Excellent food (churrasco and flan de café!), beautiful location but we went in August so waited an hour to be served despite being seated immediately (we had reserved). Would still go back (at a less busy time) and certainly recommend.
