Wij namen de grand cru tour, inbegrepen : 4 degustaties van Rodenbach. Ook de koude tapasplank is ten zeerste aan te raden. The best that I have been on, and I've been on a lot!! Wonderful small group tour, gracious guide who accommodated multiple languages. Wonderful samples at the end. Worth so much more than the $10 per person we paid! I came as part of a tour. Upon arrival we were greeted with complimentary and given a full behind the scenes tour. Afterwards we had dinner in a beautiful setting. Highly recommend this brewery. An interesting with fun and easily digestible stops. Fantastic from the extremely knowledgeable Bert who was happy to answer all of our questions, no matter how in depth. So much history in this site which has remained largely unchanged since the 1800s, and Bert was very accommodating in our requests to view particular areas such as the large koelschip rooms. The highlight is the cellars home to old oak foeders aging the beer, and tasting direct from the barrel with an incredibly complex, impactful and 'fresh-tasting' flavour profile. The ends in the new visitor bar / restaurant where we sat in a re-purposed foeder barrel where a bottle of their new release St Georges Pale Sour was brought over on ice. Great experience, and a decent gift shop as well. Absolutely essential for anyone interested in Belgian brewing history. Great and amazing full of history of this 200 year brewery. The was comprehensive, informative, and Bert was excellent - very passionate about beer! The history of this historic and its style of was well explained. Erityisen hienoa oli, kun kierroksella pääsi vierailemaan varastohalleissa, joissa säilytetään oluttynnyreitä jälkikäymistä varten, ja pääsimme maistamaan sekoittamatonta vanhaa olutta. Super nice visit with Bert and delicious drinks, accommodating for a beginner dutch learner and english translations as well as french, super happy with the beers!! Gezellige plek, zeker bezoeken waard! Vergeet niet binnen te kijken :) Amazing experience. The guide was extremely pleasant and accomodative. We payed 34e for grand cru (student and adult). Including 4 (15cl a pop) beers and a taste of their non processed old beer. And 10 euros discount in the gift shop. Extremely high value for money, great experience, wonderfull people!
