Stayed on Aire for a long restful lunch break, under trees and quiet. Toilets very dirty and not cared for, but good place for a break It's and okay play area for children. We went out of season and on a Saturday so it was quiet, but it looks like it has a cafe. A few rides to keep kids occupied for an hour with a quick walk to the service station across the bridge to Starbucks and Pizza Hut. Excellent spot for the young ones. There is a good 'eco' play area and the exhibition area has a range of exhibits, so check what's on. We have visited the exhibition center for a space exhibition and also one on the human body, both of which were excellent - fun and informative for my young son. Mostly used for events like beer festivals... but the are many things to do in the region even if it's quite difficult to arrive in that region without a car. The is a large parking in site and some horse riding activities. 3 stars because of the donkeys, the playground and the green area all around, but the rest is a bit sad. The toilet is always closed (in 5 years I found it opened only once). The grass is never cut, in general there is a sense of abandonment around. There is nobody to turn to, ask for information. There's a huge building that I suppose was meant to be a caffe or something, but it's been closed for 5 years now. If someone took care of this place, it would be truly magnificent. A sweet, shady place that the kids always enjoy. Very happy they replaced the heat-island inducing rubber tire scraps with something more ecological. I agree with others that the paid attractions recently installed are a shame and not a good addition. It's a distraction for the kids who then pressure parents to have to pay. The regular, free playspace is creative and a great place to meet other parents and kids. Excellent place for fun. Play gardens, life animals (mules) and more. In the middle of Forrest, perfect for families looking for active day. A very nice place for relaxing. There are tables and seats under trees and someone can eat something. We came in May 2023. It was all closed even though it said open on Google maps. We have returned 3 July 2024 and whilst it's open, there is nothing here. The toilets are horrid. The building closed. Water ugly full of green water (algae). Waste of time. I think they run events here someone as there was an advert for a car meet. Donkeys are cute and look very healthy, but no idea what the point of this place, very frustrating.
