This is the place to be when the incredible and ever popular Car Show is on during June. The Club Day and associated Funfair during the same month is also worth a look. So beautiful here. Unspoilt by tourism and so peaceful, probably because there isn't much going on and I'm glad because every we go it's like being in a different world. I Henry my Labrador nearly every day on Lytham Green and absolutely love it wether the weather is hot ,cold , rainy windy or Sleet and snow the scenery is amazing and always brightens up are day !! We also like to on the beach and down Prom to the sea and look over to Southport!! Defo my favourite walks are here 😍 ❤️❤️❤️ love Lytham ❤️ Visited the 1940s festival absolutely brilliant day so much going on and after 60 yrs it's my first actually seeing inside the windmill one off the bucket list lol. Showground was packed with military vehicles and stalls lots of shows and demonstrations great day out. Also lots of people in period dress so help make the day special. Have attended several events here, most recently the 1940s weekend and they have all been fantastic. However, even when there are no events taking place, it is still a lovely place to take a walk, enjoy the space and the greenery and relax. A really nice large place for events. I went a few weeks back for a 1940s event and loved every minute of it. This was my 2nd visit to Lytham and it certainly won't be my last. Beautiful beach front. Friendly. Safe. Healthy walks. Panoramic views. Went for the Saturday of the 40s weekend. I was helping out on the Royal British Legion Riders stand. The weather was very hot and sunny. The event was well attended by members of the public. The only thing that came to my notice to improve things would be to have more and better toilet facilities. As what was provided was inadequate. Beautiful and tranquil place to be. Love going to blow the cobwebs away! The photos are from May 2022 through to February this year. Well worth the visit. Go and spend some there, I'm sure you'll enjoy the peace 😊 Lytham green is in Lytham and every year there is a festival there which has major music artists. It also is good for walking and is in Lytham which has a load of places to eat and drink and is good for a night out. There are also a load of places which are good to eat in the day for those who like tea and coffee. There are also a load of shops to investigate while your there. Also there is a windmill and a lifeboat shop. First visit to the 1940s weekend at Lytham it was really good, very busy. Attend Lytham St Anne's for the 40s weekend. Absolutely brilliant. So nostalgic. So many things to see & do. It was like a leep back in time, well worth a visit. I’m biased because I was born here. But, Lytham is a rare town these days. A great place for a along the green which is always very clean and well looked after. The town itself is rare for the fact that it has a busy high street full of independent shops. No empty shops, lots of locally owned businesses which all seem to be thriving. A lovely place to visit. Other town councils should take note as Fylde seems to be doing something right. Lovely and clean and a great along the promenade Lovely open space right next to the sea (if it’s in, that is). Little coffee stall as well. What’s not to love. Bracing flat . Great dog walking. A short away from the shops of the high street , busy but lots of room. Kite flying, dog walking, children chasing, bike riding or just walking for as long as you want. Several shelters along the way for a quick rest or hide from sudden showers. Really nice from Lytham to St Anne’s along the front. On low tide you can also on the shingle beach. Off the green is the main town of Lytham, lowther gardens or the queens hotel which is lovely to sit outside on a nice day Nice place for a , popular with dog walkers . Plenty of places to sit , lots of bins and public toilets. Nice enjoyable (if the weather allows) along the front, benches for picnics & plenty of grass-sand for dogs to roam. Beautiful brisk morning in the sunshine, absolutely spotless and manicured greens. I come here for Lytham festival, lovely place, some quaint shops, ample parking, lovely views and all in all great day and night out. Beautiful and for now, unspoilt part of the world. Gem of the North West. Fabulous eating something on the many benches while peering out to sea and saying hello to random passerbys. Fantastic views and sea air vibes Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
