Super nice place with well maintained property surrounded by flowers. Ecellent food starting with gulyas bean soup and steaks. The cabbage salad was outstanding. Really nice restaurant with traditional food in general in a small village. The food is very tasty. 😋 Yes, this place deserves 5 stars for the quality food and service. Don't expect plenty of options, just basic Hungarian/Romanian food, but prepared witg passion. And it's delicious. Try the paprika home-made sauce! Very good food and decent rooms in a small but nice village. The lady owner and the staff were also nice and polite. Great place overall. We arrived few minutes after opening hours. Service was great. I had the bean soup and pancakes. The soup was out of this world good. This is a beautiful place, clean and good food. The food is good too apart from the Hake which didn't come as described on the menu that's the reason for the 4 star. I stayed here when hiking the Via Transilvanica! It’s a wonderful place run by an extremely welcoming family and staff with great rooms and fantastic food! Had an amazing 4 days here with guests from Germany. We loved the location, staff and food. The family running the business is very friendly and the ingredients used for cooking were locally sourced, thus creating tasty dishes. The location is also great if you want to see the old Unitarian churches around. Definitely recommend! I did not book a room rather I was simply driving through looking for a place to have breakfast. I was very surprised by both the quality of the food as well as the service. I have been to many restaurants in romania and I can’t remember ever being offered a separate bill for every person at the table. If the rest of the services are similar to this experience i cannot but highly recommend staying here. I really believe the experience will surprise you. They aren't very fond of Romanians. When we called to make a reservation, the hotel initially claimed to have no vacancies for our date upon learning that we are Romanians. However, after insisting that we knew there were vacancies, they admitted to having availability but wanted to charge us 200 lei. When we pointed out that the price on Booking.com was 185 lei, they refused to confirm a reservation at that price. When we asked what they would do if we booked via Booking.com at 185 lei and just showed up, their response was dismissive. The hotel is located in an area known as Ținutul Secuiesc, where Romanians may not feel particularly welcome. Ultimately, they reluctantly accommodated us, and we observed that there were indeed several vacancies that night. It seems they were more inclined to turn away Romanian guests than to make a profit. Despite the high price, the room lacked air conditioning and was small, as was the bathroom. Very nice experience and good food. Highly recommend it. Stayed for 1 night while biking part of the Via Transilvanica. Super clean and comfortable rooms, excellent food and a peaceful setting. The family who own the place and their staff are very welcoming and friendly. Definitely recommend.
