Jylhä kanjoni Great place for taking a nature hike. Lots of boardwalks and a big, nice lean-to, or wicket. And a small hut with a fireplace in the middle. Firewood is provided for free, so take your picnic stuff with you and you can enjoy hot food and the heat of a campfire. Just remember to pack something to light a fire. This place is amazing. You can do a 6km loop or a 2km out and back. The loop is nice but in the summer the mosquitoes will devour you. The gorge is breathtaking and it feels like something from a Zelda game. Along the loop there are a lot of wild berries (strawberry and huckleberry). It looks like the strawberries get ripe around the third week of July and the huckleberries in early August. The is not difficult and at ca 8km we spent there 3,5h just enjoying the scenery. Some parts of the go through muddy/wet/swampy regions, proper shoes recommended although not required. Oli helppo kulkea 3-vuotiaankin, vaikka oli juurakkoa runsaasti. Laavulla oli myös kota ja lammessa olisi varmasti voinut halutessaan pulahtaa uimaan. Oikein oli kiva muutaman tunnin reissu eväineen!
