Amazing zoo, the best I've been to in Bulgaria. The reason being they give you food to the animals, so all are well-fed and always before your eyes and not locked up in a cage. Later edit: Came back after one year, it is still a great place for a family trip away from the noisy hotel. This is the perfect place to spend a hot afternoon. In the forest the temperatures are much lower compared to the beach, so the air is breathable. Also the kids love to the with the 2 lv food bags that you can buy from the entrance. You can find here deers, monkeys, pigeons, goats and boars. You can combine this Zoo trip with a to Byala ancient fortress, an impresive and well preserved 7th century AD greek settlement. place si a bit rundown but the are very well taken care of and are very friendly Mini zoo in the vicinity of a forest. Nothing extraordinary. Just a few animals, of rabbits and hens. Plus a few monkeys, some ponyes. The wooden infrastructure where live seem to be very old and not taken care of. The mix sensation of wild and abandoned, but not in a good sense. There is a mini playground for kids and also the option to buy food to the yourself (2 extra leva). The parking across the road is very filthy, with human feces and scattered toilet paper. Plus plastic bottles. Not worthy for stopping. This is literally the most underrated zoo I've ever been to! I randomly saw it on the map and we almost didn't but boy am I happy that we did! You can really see how much love and craft has gone in it and the look so healthy and happy (most importantly they have so much space and it's not between 4 concrete walls) please go!!! It's a must!!! This is a really nice rustic zoo! A good variety of animals, of areas to sit and have a picnic and play areas for children. The appear to he well looked after, with an abundance of food. are happy and engage with visitors. My wife was particularly happy that a monkey held her hand. Really affordable for a family to this little petting zoo, under'2's are free, 2-12years is 4 Lev and adults / 12+ is 8 Lev. I really liked how most enclosures / benches and fences appear to be made out of re-used wood / branches. There is also of shade as you walk around, with the majority of enclosures and walkways protected by tree cover. To conclude, a really nice small petting zoo, that offers visitors a low cost afternoon out where you do not need to worry about the health of the animals. Have included a few pictures from our visit, including the hand-holding monkey. Old but beautiful! This zoo in Bulgaria has a nostalgic charm and is full of character. A peaceful place with well-kept — truly worth a The swings are wide enough for me to fit in. A monkey grabbed my finger What’s not to like?! Nice and shaded. seem well kept. You can them cabbage or corn. 8 lev for adults. Very nice experience! The staff were really good, professional, and friendly. We paid a fair price overall, and it was worth it considering the number and variety of we saw. My child really enjoyed the visit! A great feature was the chance to the ourselves. Although the food (like cabbage and fresh fruits) came at an extra cost, it was absolutely worth it. Most zoos of this size either don’t allow feeding or make it very expensive — here it was affordable and fun. Overall, one of the best zoo experiences in the area. Thank you! Small place, not too many kinds of animals, and of flies and some mosquitoes, but still very worth visiting for the unique design, mostly wood structures, and the very friendly that you can feed. There are of places to sit around: benches, hammocks, swings, even since some wooden seesaws. Nice zoo, though it's rather old and shabby but it has good vibe. look healthy and are not afraid of humans. Definitely recommend buy some food to the at the entrance (2 BGN = 1 EUR per packet). We will definitely again in the warmer times. PS: Beware of dog poop near geese pond, LMAO Нас нравится этот зоопар не смотря на отзывы других посетителей. Покупаем в супермаркете овощи, нарезаем и едем с целой сумкой кормить зверят, дети довольны, хозяева зоопарка тоже, и очень доброжелательны. I love this mini forest 😊zoo....so climatic. I call it forest zoo as it is among of trees like in forest, it is very relaxing place. We have been there two times and we are definitely will be back next season. Monkeys were eating corn from our hands, so cute....it says dengerous monkey so we stay cautious and fed them from distance and they were very gentle picking food from our fingers. of roe deers that are friendly and you can them as well as rabbits, chicken, goose, horser and few spiecies more... There are hammocks and swings for kids... you can have a drink and have nice relaxing time in nature 😍sign by Nature Lover Мястото е хубаво, но животните изглеждат много гладни и постоянно искат храна. На входа се продават торбички със зеле и моркови за хранене. Съвпадение? Дали нарочно не ги хранят, за да могат да продават повече храна на входа? The zoo was filled with beautiful and it was well maintained. At the entrance you can buy food to the cute animals. There is a restaurant, but when we visited it was closed. Overall I am rating this perfect zoo a 5/5 stars! 🐐 Simpatico e divertente per adulti e bambini After the founder's deth in 2021 seems to be a little bit abounded. May be some day will close after all.
