I went to the Kart Track Kalamata excited for a day of fun, only to find it closed, despite Google listing it as open. What a complete waste of time! There was no sign or indication at the location to inform visitors of the closure. No updates on social media, no notice on their website - nothing. We drove all the way there, only to stand in front of locked gates, feeling utterly frustrated. To make matters worse, the place looked abandoned, with an air of neglect that was disheartening to see. The lack of communication and the misleading information on Google Maps are unacceptable, especially in the age of instant updates and digital information. This experience left us with nothing but disappointment. One star because I can't give zero. Avoid unless you want to risk a wasted trip. Really fun to drive there and friendly stuff. Hidden Gem (40 min bike ride from Neilson Messini ) - large outdoor track, great value, nice people Yesterday i took my son to do the karting, He is 10 years old, he wanted to do the kart alone, Look like the guide reduce the speed of the kart, And my son was very disapointed, all day he say the kart didnt go fast as it should be. Why? Great fun for the whole family! We had a fantastic time at Kart Track Kalamata! In October there were no waiting times at all — we were the only guests on the track. They offer for adults, smaller for kids (which can go up to 40 km/h), and even double-seater so you can take younger children along. My daughter (11) and my nephew (10) handled the smaller perfectly, while my son (15) and I drove the adult without any issues. The track is nicely designed with plenty of curves and good straights where you can really accelerate. Prices are fair: €13 for 10 minutes or €30 for 30 minutes. Definitely worth a visit — we’ll be back for sure! This is our 2nd time in San Nikolas Kalamata Circuit. We had Rotax Max Challange race here. Just next to the sea, and if you come on summer time, you may enjoy the beautiful sea and also the historical sites nearby. We didnt race as airport awaited, we did however eat had few drinks, swam in sea. Food good, reasonsble prices, clean. Cool track, good karts, nice Taverna with a good view for spectators and drinks. Breathtaking view, beautiful beach with sand and very small pebbles. The coffee is great and the food is so delicious! The service is amazing too! Our waiter most of the times was Konstantina (I hope I got her name right). Lovely girl - polite and efficient! I cannot recommend this place enough! We will be definitely coming back!
