Not the newest, but has a nice atmosphere… Only visited to see it as a football fan tourist not for a match. Gate was open so we could walk around. If you're a football enthusiast definitely worth a look. Best times are gone I like the fact that the municipality of Kalamata allows people to just walk in and exercise without having to pay a penny. Plenty of room for any kind of work out, nice environment and plenty of people like minded. Lights out At 22:00 every day. Leave only your footprints..... The beach is close also for a quick dive into the fresh water. Totally recommend. Enjoy. It is so great that there are two calestenics places for public use from sun rise to sun set for free at the stadium. Also jogging is possible, too. I have been in worse stadiums,especially in Athens...but still many things missing,it a town with high taxes! Super atmosphere. Amazing spot for people who like to run on vacation, there is no cost and from 7 in the morning (as far as I could tell) you can use the running track for a workout for free. Also there are some workout machines if you are interested in that. Happy to get my miles in this week on the track! It needs some improvements, still one of the good places to work out in Kalamata.
