What an absolute brilliant place for who don’t get to go off often. My little pooch had the best day. So much for her to play with and sniff and run without the worry of her escaping or having a run in with other dogs. Dave was great who gave us the rules. Just a fantastic day out and my dog enjoyed every second of it. Thank you Dogwood we will be back Absolutely fantastic first experience at Dogwood East! Highly recommend, especially for reactive/nervous dogs. Clean, safe and secure with a portaloo outside and fresh drinking water inside! The it, had a good run around and sniff. There were plenty of benches and a picnic table for ourselves, perfect for disabled users! We love Dogwood! Our boys are high energy and letting them run and the enclosed fields together off is amazing for them. We love it as much as they do, it's lovely to watch them have such freedom. Cannot fault the process either. We are emailed the gate code on the day and we just turn up, park outside and in we go. Such a great resource for those who have who cannot be off for any reason or anyone who just wants to tire their pooch out and all the exciting things at Dogwood. Excellent, well-thought out adventure play area for dogs! I the experience, my adored it. Normal walking is no longer quite good enough. The and I can't wait to go back. 5* The induction was quick and easy. The was spotless and had loads of space for our fur baby to run around — she absolutely it! She spent the whole time running and exploring. I’d highly recommend it for shy, anxious, or nervous dogs. We visited Dogwood (West) earlier this week. The layout is well thought out and both our always head for the pond straight away. To be honest, I was a little disappointed in the condition of the pond water, as it was very dirty/green and looks as though it hadn't been changed for a while. With it being a warm day, I decided to try and relax on the seat next to the pond - bad idea, as it almost collapsed. So I tried the picnic bench to the side of the pond area which is in a similar condition. Apart from the above issues, out trip to Dogwood was enjoyed by who it was intended for, our dogs. We will be returning to Dogwood as we believe it is value for money and well designed. I hope my criticism does not put people off. Great first visit to Dogwood with our two , met by Dave who did our introduction. Very friendly and showed us everything we needed to know , lovely guy . We then enjoyed our time exploring and our had a fantastic time . West is great , lots to do and and it was immaculate, great safe space for your to have fun . We will definitely make this a regular place to visit. Thank you from Rachael , David , calamity and Ruger It was our first time at Dogwood so we had the initial introduction. It was a lovely, friendly welcoming introduction and instantly made us feel comfortable and excited to be there. The place is immaculate, the grass had just been cut, but you can see the care and dedication that goes into the place from the enthusiastic team. We have a 5 month old whippet, who having a run around freely and we knowing she could do that safely. There are lots of different areas to the grounds and so much attention to detail has gone into them. Our whippet the sand pit and the sensory garden. We will be back !! My 13 yo Yorkie has always enjoyed the freedom of running and playing off in public parks and on beaches, however, after recovering from a serious leg injury and now suffering from failing eyesight and hearing loss, he started to show signs of lack of confidence. I've taken him to our local park recently, which he knows well, and he tries to run straight back to our car. This pattern repeated itself no matter where I tried to walk him. I had him checked at the vets, and by a physio, for signs of pain but I was told he was physically fine. I put it down to anxiety and put him on a long on walks to keep him safe. But this made me feel sad as he always used to love to run free - which made me think of Dogwood Adventure Play! When my husband saw these pictures he said "Awww! He looks like his old self!" which was true. My dog must have known he was safe; he could run around and explore, sniff, and play without me hovering around him, adding to his stress. I pottered about, sat on the picnic bench or a log, he knew where I was so came to check in every now and again, but did his own thing and he it! I will definitely be booking more sessions for him. My self and Debbie enjoyed it very much as did the scruffy and Shawny. Shawny (greyhound never been off with me before he ran like the wind so lovely to see then him and scruffy played lovely together we got a bit wet but didn't matter at all. We plan to come once a month and already booked in for 4th July looking forward to it x Fantastic dog park ! Our two border terriers absolutely love it, so much for them to in the safety of an enclosed field. Perfect for our reactive dog What an absolutely amazing place! My two babies (dogs) it especially the sensory garden 🪴 Fantastic place to take your dog/dogs for a good round around in the knowing they can’t run off and great to carry out training. Really good dog experience. We have a 6 month old Labrador and it was really good to take him for a meet up with another dog in a neutral space. Plenty of activities, sensory things and even somewhere for owners to sit if it rains 😂. My 5 year old son also lives going here with his dog! We have used a few dog fields in the past, and at best they are just that. A field. Dogwood Adventure Play is so much more. The is large, with plenty of space to have a run, but there is all manner of well maintained equipment, logs, trees, a tunnel and hills. A sensory garden with pond. A sandpit area. So much for to enjoy and explore. All in a safe and secure field. Our dog literally had a day. He was able to happily freely, and we had the chance to do some off leash training with him. Highly recommend Dogwood Adventure Play. We will be regular visitors from now on. There is even a picnic area for when the weather permits.
