Updated review; Best ice in the Northeast Lovely clean centre, all the are welcoming, and friendly. Hire skates look okay and seem to be sharpened regularly. My one negative is the lengthy waiting times for Coaching. For me personally 7 month, that's a long long time, so be prepared for a lengthy wait. Group lesson may work better for you, again if you can get booked onto them. But other than that, it's a 5 star rink. I have used twice now through Teesactive for the sauna and steam rooms. Lovely, tidy, modern and clean building. Easy to book a session online. Car park is your first left as you turn in, before you hit B&M and aldi etc (limited parking time in them car parks). Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Will keep returning, especially to try the other range of facilities that they offer. Loved it. Went to see Walk Like a Man. Booked in the VIP Lounge which was lovely. place. We'll definitely be back. A Forum not too big. All very & welcoming 😀 Had a good out there, saw toni Lee Karen carpenter tribute act fantastic show I watched my sons practice ice hockey for years and finally decided to take up skating. The Penguin rental was a fit. I'm glad I had this experience; it was fun. The forum is closed at the moment due to caronavirus. Updated now it is open has a Gym, swimming pool, sauna, cafe, yoga, martial arts, Ice rink and theatre. I remember coming here as a kid for the films on a Saturday morning. Whilst watching a film featuring Norman Wisdom and having me and my cousin's photo taken by the local paper the Evening Gazette. Went to see ' Last days of Disco' last and was really good. Theatre wasn't full, just right. 2 x 45 minute performances from the group and they got the audience up dancing, was a really good atmosphere. Sang a good range of nostalgic disco songs, bringing back memories. Tickets were £26 for stalls. Car parking available in The Forum car park. Drinks in the bar during interval, £5 for 2 diet cokes, plus there's only a short interval so no time for another drink. You can however take your drink into theatre in a plastic glass if you wanted another one. Toilets upstairs and downstairs and looked clean. Will be going back at Christmas for Motown party night. Toilets in ice rink dirty and leaking.. A nice evening ice-skating. Well kept building, and plenty of information dotted about. Very fairly priced for skating, boots can be hired onsite which makes life easier. Great little cafe onsite. it does a flat white with a option on cakes, snacks and pastries. Went to see Get Into The Groove Madonna tribute with two young ladies I support through my job. If you closed your eyes you'd think you were listening to the actual Madonna. Very talented and she did look a lot like her. She was also very lovely. There was a member of at Billingham Forum Theatre who was and too. I didn't get her name but she sounded Scottish. I'd just like to thank her for getting a couple of posters and letting us know that 'Madonna' would be coming out into the foyer to say hello which gave us a photo opportunity. Last we went to Billingham Forum Theatre to see Believe: The Cher Songbook, it was absolutely amazing, a fantastic experience. The lead singer sang fabulous and sounded so much like Cher, the band and backing vocals were as well as those working in the background with the group were also in helping to give us the audience such a night. The atmosphere was electric, brilliant, everyone of all ages were singing and dancing along, given participation and love back to the fantastic group who gave us their best. Last but not least the at the Forum Theatre are lovely, friendly, supportive and who helped us in providing a evening out. Absolutely can't recommend highly enough. Here's a couple of short videos and photos of the group Believe: The Cher Songbook. A definite must to see. We love going to the billingham forum theatre to see different tribute acts , always have a time , are really freindly and professional, fully reccomend at neil diamond tribute. Bar very friendly in the vip lounge, Looking forward to our next one Had a fantastic time at the Forum. What a clean and friendly place this is. It was also very organised. This is a very good leisure facility which includes a swimming pool, ice rink, gym and theatre. There are various courts available to hire. The Kids love it and so do I plenty of activities and plenty going on in the theatre too. Can't recommend this place enough I've been going to the rink for years and it's a place, the ice is the best I've skated on, it's always a decent atmosphere and everyone is supportive. Years since I wore the hire skates but I remember they were torture, I bought my own in the end. Most look to have been replaced now so maybe they've improved. But yeah can't recommend enough. Fantastic experience Ice Skating. Very and all around amazing Went for Granddaughters birthday. The experience itself was great. Only thing was is that they only had some boots with the metal straps in certain sizes. So the two younger ones had to have lace up boots which are difficult to tighten and aren’t as comfy. I would want to give 5 stars however, after coming to the fitness classes now for over a year. I have to say something needs to be done about the parking in the summer holidays! I booked my class today and spent 15 minutes driving in the 2 car parks available for the forum, to which I couldn’t end up finding a space so wasn’t able to go to my class. This is very frustrating as I understand there are many things going on, but the parking is just not big enough for the amount of things that is held in 1 location.
