We stayed in room #1 - a spacious room with a deluxe shower in what looks like a converted barn. The old wooden beams are charming but a bit creaky in the wind, which is only noticeable because the rest of the surroundings are so peaceful! It's an ideal location for countryside cycling or river-based activities (not that we did any ourselves!). Continental breakfast is included. It turns out that that the evening meals mentioned on the website are only available in summer months which was a slight disappointment to us on arrival, but we probably should have tried to arrange one to discover this fact before arriving anyway. There's plenty of decent restaurants a short drive away in neighbouring Zevenaar. The hosts are very accommodating and friendly. Complimentary drinks on arrival and quite conversational throughout the stay despite our language barrier! Plenty of on-site parking which is always a bonus for me. Would certainly return for another visit and would recommend to anyone considering a stay. Great area, great people, great breakfast. A charming farm turned into a hotel in the middle of amazing green Dutch countryside. The beds are comfy, the breakfast is delicious and the people are cool, helpful and friendly.
