A truly beautiful Landgoed Halsaf estate with a rich history! We celebrated our mom’s 65th birthday here and enjoyed an unforgettable weekend away. From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by peace, nature, and a touch of royalty. The personal attention and unique surroundings made it even more special. The highlight of our stay was the exquisite three-course menu crafted by a talented chef. 🥘 Each dish was perfectly paired with fine wines, thoughtfully introduced by the host. 🍷 We loved our stay at Halsaf. Lovely staff, beautiful room. The grounds are perfect for a stroll (property includes pigs, chickens, etc). We enjoyed sitting in the lounge area after we came back from dinner. The breakfast was also lovely, with again excellent service. One minor issue for us: the Sky Music radio during breakfast was for us unnecessary and didn’t really fit the romantic quiet atmosphere we were looking for……… A beautiful old estate in the middle of a lush forest. The hotel is very aptly decorated and has some very stylish Victorian rooms. Every room is also different. The area is very calm and you can enjoy the sounds of nature. The bathrooms are very modern compared to the rooms and have everything you need. Downstairs are magnificent common rooms and allow you to have some drinks and play some records while mingling with other guests. The breakfast is fine and filling. The hostess is also incredibly nice. We will definitely return. Can't say enough good things about this place. I was in a pinch and needed a room. They not only equipped me with a beautiful room in a beautiful place, their staff showed incredible humanity helping me figure out how I was going to continue my journey (how to get to a train station, where it was, how to get food delivered, etc etc). On top of all of that, the scenery is magic. Thank you so much! Our stay at Landgoed Halsaf was absolutely wonderful! We arrived around 4:30 PM and were warmly welcomed with a delicious aperitivo, complete with tasty bites and refreshing drinks. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed, with soft and comfortable beds that guaranteed a great night’s sleep. Breakfast was an absolute delight—freshly baked breads, a variety of sweet and savory toppings, creamy yogurt with crunchy granola, and plenty more to choose from. Everything was abundant and thoughtfully prepared. We truly enjoyed every moment and would love to return! Very nice estate! Very good service! We really enjoyed our stay there. Rooms were kept clean, breakfast and dinner was really delicious. Staff was quite friendly. And surrounding is just about nature. Loved walking around that neighborhood.
