Planned to stop for 4 nights with our motorhome, unfortunately the facilities were non existent so we left and found a nice place and stayed in the end 9 days…. Great location near Steyr, efficient staff, great playable course layout. Great driving range and practice facilities. Great hotel-restaurant attached, even motor-home parking and facilities. It is nice quiet hotel and golf course. Rooms are very small and stuffy. Also location is quite remote and cannot come here without a car or taxi. Nearest train station is Sankt Valentin. Stuffs are very nice and accommodative. Breakfast has limited options but delicious. Meals are simple but nice as well We spent here 2 nights. The rooms was a little bit cold but we got electric heaters so they were helpful and solved our problem. The breakfest was fine with a wide range of food. I see a lot of great reviews, but I don't know why?! It isn't that clean, I saw spider webs in my room. I even seen somebody saying it's high-tech :))). Yeah, you do the check-in by yourself, but you have physical keys and everything seems outdated. Staff didn't seem too friendly. Who starts to clean loudly your table while you're still eating??!? I would avoid this hotel, sorry. Location seemed fine, it was pretty and quiet, BUT... Great Golf Course very well designed. Very friendly staff in the hotel, restaurant and on the top tracer driving range. Nice hotel and exceptional food. Also ideal for non golfers Booked for 3 days. Room was tiny with no window just a skylight Shower was ancient, filling in tiles falling out, looked run down. Had to cancel and find alternative accommodation. Promised partial refund. Never received.
