Every time I come to Latvia I run immediately to this place I usually order my favourite Lido meal at its every restaurant I go to - cottage cheese pancakes, however the ones served here were so awful with a bad smell too and I was really disappointed. Also the variety of foods is very limited and most of the meals are with pork instead of other different meats. This is great food and I love the set up. If you're American you can think of this as an a la carte buffet. A great taste of traditional Latvian food and other dishes. Grab a tray and don't be afraid to ask what something is. Dining at Lido in Riga was unforgettable. The warm hospitality, cozy atmosphere, and remarkable variety of traditional Latvian dishes made it a delightful experience. The flavors were rich, the ambiance rustic, and the staff friendly and attentive. Lido is perfect for families and friends, offering live music and a children's play area. I highly recommend Lido for an authentic taste of Latvia in a welcoming setting. Good big lido for some good food , go for the fries they are the best fries ever Food wise its good, not like it used to be 10 years ago, quality is a bit let down. You can find most the popular foods there, like potato strips, turkey meatballs and so on. Staff there is a bit rude, more cashiers than other staff. Chefs are as nice as always. And price wise is also higher than usual. Extremely dissapointed. Was with my kid who did not eat much but we wanted to take away. Went to buy food box and the table was wiped clean. Most of the food was not eaten. So the 17 euro we spent was mostly thrown away. Ofcourse the little 3 year old refused to stay alone in the table. I like the food in Lido. But I was so dissapointed because of that. And i was te second client in cassier so i could have not been away for a lpng time Overpriced for what you get. Got covid.
