Very interesting place. Was once the capital of an ancient kingdom, now the whole town is almost completely abandoned. It's difficult to find your way up to the top but with perseverance you can make your way. The views are worth it. Look out for bats! If you rent a boat, don't pay more than 40euro It was an uneventful trip, hike up to it.the road by car was more of a challenge.car parking is easy -pick a spot.2 paths up.follow the river and either go to the end and up a cemented path that will lead u to the cemetary and then a rock path up, or 2/ head towards the river, but when u see a red door & stairs on the left in a building, go up this way.. Very nice historical place with fantastic view. You can take boat tours from here to visit other villages. A place with great potential as the fortress is quite intact and offering beautiful views of the surrounding area. A little spooky towards the sunset as there isn't anyone except herds of very loud cows in the surrounding area doing unearthly noises. The place is nice and calm, but there is not much you can do, except for ancient castle remains in the middle of the village. Park your car at the free lot downstairs and walk up the path leading up to the ruins. Spend about 15/20 min there. A little difficult to find the way up but a local selling boat tours pointed the way and a friendly dog accompanied me much of the way. Lovely views from the top. Very close to Podgorica and very accessible for short walks and day-out. Could be very attractive for tourists would someone invest reasonable funds. Not gonna happen very soon because they still have much faster and easier ways to turn money over.
