Tourist-Information Ulm / Neu Ulm

Ulm, Germany Tourist information center

Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. Small free exhibitions. Lovely tourist shop and information center. Friendly and helpful staff. Definitely stop here if you visit Ulm as a tourist. Hell und freundlich gestaltet. Die Stadt Ulm verrechnet großzügig 1 Euro für die Toiletten Benutzung. Leider konnte uns das Personal nicht weiterhelfen. Kunstprojekt mit den grauen Männchen ist dort unbekannt - eigentlich schade We are glad that we booked the English-guided city and Minster tour. We had purchased the Ulm card online, but booked the itself in the Tourist-Information center, in person. They were extremely helpful in printing out our tickets, and then re-printing the next day when we had left the tickets in the hotel. Oops. The is really enjoyable and we loved hearing the interesting facts about the places we visited. Ulm is a beautiful city with many things to see, though both days we were there no shops were open. Our biggest struggle was finding a place to purchase water on Sunday! It was so hot outside and unless you went to a restaurant, we could not find water anywhere. Just be careful! Went there to see an exhibition. Very clean, easy access, everyone is friendly, and apparently theres always something going on Goed geholpen in het Engels. Goede eerlijke info. Nice visitors center with a small gift shop. Staff were friendly and helpful. Bathroom located downstairs. Very kind in person service and souvenirs shop, but their webpage is outdated for more than a year. Their rental bicycle service is no longer operating and they don't answer the phone so you have to walk there to find about it. We were inquiring general information about living in Ulm and the tourist information lady took a lot of time answering all our questions. Great service. Really nice and pleasant lady but cannot supply details of accommodation in the rest of Germany. Germany is still in the 90s no Airbnb or booking.com. Villages have a "Hotel Route" so you can aimlessly drive around looking for a room for the night. Madness for a 1st world country, obviously designed to protect hotel monopolies. We really enjoyed 1,5 hours English-guided city and Minster tour, booked online. It was easy-going full of interesting historical facts and the guide was professional, kind and he patiently answered all our questions . We would definitely recommend this tour! Very friendly and helpful staff, especially Astrid! We got the Ulm Card, which was worth it for the bike rental alone. We had a great time biking along the river and visiting the Bread Museum and Zoo. I would definitely recommend it. The cheerfully attendants explain you how to take profit of your day in Ulm My wife and I took the 1.5 hour Ulm city with guide Martha. She told us it was her first speaking in English, and she was nervous about her language ability. There was absolutely no reason for her to be nervous. Her English was brilliant, the was full of lots of interesting information, and we saw a lot of nice places in Ulm that we had not previously visited. We would definitely recommend this tour, whether you live in the area, or you are a visitor. Very informative and kind staff There are guided tours in English that are very good. Wilma was an excellent guide with great information! We booked the UlmCard for the first weekend of August, which included a guided through the city at 2:30pm. We couldn't book the online due to website problems and we went to the Tourist-Information Ulm to book it during the morning. It took them 20 minutes to do it, because they didn't know how their software worked. We arrived at 2:25 pm but the had already left. The Tourist-information didn't know the first stop point, just that the guide was wearing a blue shirt. Therefore, we were unable to find the guide. In general, they were not aware of what was included in the UlmCard and therefore we had to work out everything ourselves. Really a bad experience with this Tourist Office and we would never recommend taking the UlmCard. Very nice place and a must see if you are in the area.
