Ulm is a city with interesting history, Einstein's birth place, but not enough respect for this genius man. A little sculpture, hiding near school, dificult to find, and place in the middle of main street, easy to go pass, because they work something on it. Sad😪 Der Einsteinbrunnen auf dem Münsterplatz in Ulm ist ein faszinierender Ort, besonders für Fans von Albert Einstein und seiner bahnbrechenden Wissenschaft. Die Büste des Physikers, die von Künstler Rainer Lagemann geschaffen wurde, zieht mit ihrer markanten Form die Blicke auf sich. Besonders bemerkenswert ist, dass der Kopf von Einstein fast aus einem Schneckenhaus herauszukommen scheint, was eine künstlerische Interpretation seiner komplexen Gedankenwelt widerspiegeln könnte – eine Anspielung auf die tiefen, spiralenartigen Prozesse des Wissens. Leider war das Wasser bei meinem Besuch im März ausgeschaltet, was dem Brunnen ein wenig seine Lebendigkeit nahm. Vielleicht hängt das mit der kälteren Jahreszeit zusammen, da die Wasserspiele in den Wintermonaten oft nicht betrieben werden. Trotzdem bleibt der Brunnen ein schöner Ort, um kurz innezuhalten und über Einsteins Erbe nachzudenken, besonders vor dem majestätischen Ulmer Münster. Es lohnt sich auf jeden Fall, den Einsteinbrunnen zu besuchen, auch wenn man den sprudelnden Wasserfluss möglicherweise erst bei einem späteren Besuch im Frühling oder Sommer erleben kann. Nice fountain to visit. From what I see it looks like a roket woth a snake on top and Einstein's funny face. The water droping looks like the smoke coming out of the rocket. Nothing fancy, not a must see, just a nice landmark next to many interesting builings in Ulm. It's a beautiful place to visit and takes photos. The statue is very funny and encouraging to see it. Disappointing to me. A particular statue with a very small plaque at the bottom of the "plinth". Outside the Amtsgericht Ulm An amazing monument but should have some information about the life one of the most important scientist on human history! Furthermore, Ulm MUST have a museum with some personal items of Einstein, like his notes, books, letter's-mails, etc. I hope next time I will visit Ulm, my wish come true! As someone who studied Mathematics, I immediately thought to myself: "I gotta see that". After we got there however, I was disappointed with how small and ugly it looked. Although there was some water, it sadly wasn't much of a fountain. Overall a rather disappointing sight to see. Ok.I think I had great expectations. Just a statue in a fountain!
