Einer der schönsten Seen in Neu-Ulm, Ulm und Umgebung. Sehr groß und weitläufig mit vielen Freizeitmöglichkeiten: Kiosk, Fußball, Basketball, Volleyball, Tischtennis und ein gepflegter Grillplatz im hinteren Bereich. Die Wiese ist top gepflegt, das Gelände wird regelmäßig sauber gehalten. Für Familien gibt es einen flachen Kinderstrand, dazu zwei Flöße, zwei Stege und Rettungsschwimmer im Sommer. Der See ist einfach mit Auto, Bus oder Fahrrad zu erreichen. Leider gab es gelegentlich Probleme mit Blaualgen, was sich mittlerweile gebessert hat. Auch das Wasser kippte manchmal durch Sonnencreme-Rückstände. Deshalb: Erst baden, dann eincremen! Zudem bitte Müll und Glasflaschen wieder mitnehmen – manchmal fehlen mir da echt die Worte. Positiv hervorzuheben: Es gibt eine Außendusche, und wegen des vielen Klees sind Schlappen empfehlenswert, damit man nicht auf eine Biene tritt. Alkohol und Schwimmen sollte jeder mit gesundem Menschenverstand handhaben. Insgesamt ein toller Ort mit vielen Möglichkeiten, sogar ein Spielplatz ist vorhanden. Bei gutem Wetter kann man hier locker von 10 bis 18 Uhr verweilen. Absolut empfehlenswert!
