Cafe attached to the farm shop which houses the toilets. Quite expensive 2 breakfast and 3 hot drinks £35.00. Worth a mention they have stopped doing the PYO it says on the web site. The only reason that I deducted one star is simply because " Hash browns " cost £2 for every extra one that you want !!!!! This is totally beyond my comprehension as they are not that expensive to produce and cook. But otherwise a experience. Absolutely smashing breakfast, definitely one of my top places to go. In my opinion very value, and although it looks a bit pretentious with the the layout (my pet peeve is beans in a ramekin!), the team do get it right. Some places really don't! They even serve Stokes sauces, which is like HP/Heinz on steroids. Can't fault a place that knows their sauce! This restaurant is wonderful on the way going to York. There is dogs playing around at the time I visited. A lot of packing lot. The foods is very good. Was hoping to find pick your own strawberries here but no. Got a pack of Belgian strawberries which weren't as as M&S. Vegetables were ok and the cheese and meat counters looked good, although I didn't need any at that visit, but may try on a future visit. Very excited to have a meal out at spuds and berries, everything is so fresh and succulent. The meat was full of flavour and the dressing to match. The deserts are wonderful made and I highly recommend a meal here. The price is not bad either. And there is a lovely small farm shop on the side. Absolutely LOVE spuds and berries!!!! The farm shop is amazing, and the restaurant is 10/10. The food is incredible and the quality is unmatched. One of my favourite places to go. :) Food was awful. My wife wasn't that hungry so only had a starter and I had a main had to pay separately wouldn't do the 2 course for £18. Said it had to be same person eating it. My burger was raw and not even cooked didn't eat it. Had to pay for it and the service was rubbish. Staff very rude.
