The food is really delicious too. However, the portion is too big for a person. We ordered 4 meals but 2 would be definitely enough for us. We also ordered 4 drinks and the total we paid 63EUROs. On our last day in Montenegro, we made the drive from Rijeka Crnojevića in search of a truly authentic Montenegrin lunch, and this restaurant delivered exactly what we hoped for. It’s a peaceful and scenic spot that immediately sets the tone for a relaxed and memorable meal. I started with the veal pottage, a warm and hearty soup that was both comforting and flavourful. For the main course, we shared the boiled goat meat and the roast lamb, accompanied by a fresh salad and homemade bread. Both meat dishes were absolutely delicious, tender, and full of traditional flavour. We ended the meal with pancakes, which were a bit too sweet for my taste, but others might enjoy them as a rich finish to the meal. Overall, this was a wonderful outing and a perfect way to wrap up our time in Montenegro. The atmosphere, views, and quality of food made this a memorable experience. Highly recommended if you’re in the area or looking for a scenic lunch stop between Podgorica and Kotor. The best meal I've had in Montenegro, and I have been to some fancy restaurants too, but this beats all of them. Everything is freshly made, locally sourced and cooked to perfection. The staff are very friendly, charming and they speak a little bit of English, very good German and of course the local language. The views from the terrace are incredible and the place has a really nice vibe. I'm very pleasantly impressed! I totally recommend this place and I would be happily come back. It is filled with tourists yet the servers won’t speak in English and gets very impatient while taking orders. We took a grilled fish which was okay and a grilled pork which was overcooked and very stiff. We waited nearly 30 minutes for the food to arrive and yet the pork was a bit cold as if not served right off the grill. Wow! There’s really nothing to complain about. Food? Delicious, organic, traditional. Views? Can’t be beat. Service? Warm, sweet and every need taken care of with Montenegrin charm. We ordered the salad and meze platter to start, and traditional cast iron cooked veal and lamb. From the tomatoes and cabbage salad to the bread and the mains, everything was mouthwatering, fresh and homemade. I’ve never had better meat and potatoes ever (and I’m Balkan). And of course, the plum palacinke for dessert (don’t miss this). This is a very special dining experience! Restaurant Belveder is, without a doubt, the best restaurant in Montenegro. If you’re looking for fresh, delicious food, an excellent wine selection, professional and attentive service, and breathtaking views of Skadar Lake — this is the place to be. I’ve been here many times with my family, and we even celebrated our wedding here. Every visit has been a wonderful experience, and I have only the highest praise for both the restaurant and the incredible team who work here. My Partner and I are in Montenegro on vacation and after visiting the Lipa Cave nearby, we found this Beautiful Location only 5 Minutes from the cave to have Lunch and coffee. Excellent food, also tasty vegetarian options, very friendly staff and awesome of course. Also, when we asked the The Hotel Manager for our next sightseeing Spot, he kindly recommended an even better place and a better Route to Go there since he is local.
