Very interesting exhibit of traditional houses Det var godt It's a well preserved piece of culture. The houses are kept just as they were, and it is fascinating to look at how things used to be. There's several closely clustered houses such as the smithy, the forester's house and they contain old furniture and relics such as pots, doll houses, weaving machines and tools. There are also several spots with old Danish games that are fun for adults and kids alike. The place also has the oldest wind mill in Denmark (the post being 426 years old) which is magnificent to look at. All in all, it's worth a quick visit when in Lolland. A little disappointing, I thought this would be an original preserved village but all the buildings were moved from elsewhere. Some of the information is available in English. In some places, it is too dark to read the info (although I appreciate that the original buildings would be dark!) Interesting place, tells the story of how people used to live. The buildings are authentic. Entrance price I very reasonable. It's allowed to bring your own food and drinks, there are benches and tables around the area of the museum. The is very child friendly, but there isn't s lot for the youngest children to watch og play with. Very nice museum. There is a lot to see und you get interesting information. Was wirklich toll war, ist dass wir am Eingang ein Heft erhalten haben wo auf deutsch zu jedem Gebäude etwas geschrieben war. Kaffee und Kuchen konnte man hier auch essen und der kleine Souvenirladen war mit viel Liebe eingerichtet. Wenn man mal was entspanntes und nicht so langes machen möchte ist das auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen. Such a fun museum, definitely worth visiting! Take the train there.
