One of the best festivals for electronic music hosted in New Hangar. No sleep music festival at the port as well as at several points in the heart of the city. Main events held at colossal new Hangar in Port of Belgrade with its industrial setting contrasted by Europe’s largest river Danube and located just 10 minutes of walking from Belgrade’s center, the Republic Square. The whole area is also known for its underground electronic music spots. The place is a bit labyrinth to find it mostly if you go by night. It was WASP concert, Hangar space is very cool, on the river. Awesome experience! Though I went there for a concert, drinks are kinda expensive. Place is really spacious. I haven’t seen toilets, because whole was a blur and it was all dark and crowded so I just kept standing there in the first row the whole night. Great place for summer music shows. And the best thing is that one can buy drink for money! Just like we used to. Parking lot is huge but it s' a mess when you have to leave. System for e-pay wasn't workin so one must wait in line for more than 40 min... Indoor venue is very spacious and appropriate for concerts that can attract a couple of thousands visitors. One of the best go-to rave places in Belgrade whenever there’s an event happening! Massive club! We watched Charlotte de Witte one of the most aspiring DJ‘s in the Techno scene! The price was ok (1500rs-10€) and they used an inside currency for drinks in the club. Lots of Policemen on the entry doing random controls on the visitors. The stereo was out of this world and the crowd friendly and multicultural! Would go again if the DJ is worth it! Great place for ravers. Affordable drinks, well equipped bathrooms, and good sound system. Also, card payments are accepted 🫶 The No Sleep Festival at Hangar in Belgrade a few years back was an exceptional experience. With a stellar lineup featuring I Hate Models, Nina Kraviz, and Dax J, the was filled with intense beats and unforgettable energy. Hangar's venue was ideal, providing fantastic sound quality and an immersive atmosphere. The festival was well-organized, making it easy to navigate and enjoy. For fans of electronic music, this event was a standout and a must-attend. It truly delivered a top-tier experience. It is a great place for concerts, full musical and visual pleasure! It's even very warm inside in winter days. The weak point is parking place and going out by car. Queue is soooo long as workers who charge parking are super slow. It takes a hour to get out 😒 One of the best places in Belgrade's underground rave scene. I've seen Ihatemodels here and now Holy Priest. The wardrobe is sometimes problematic and they tend to misplace jackets. I had trouble finding my friend's jacket and had to show a picture of her wearing it to the guy working in the coat check. a warehouse rave venue through and through. comes with all the pros and cons of an underground rave. pros: cool setting, good speakers (loud enough but not ear splitting), plenty of space to dance, party goes all night. cons: no actual toilets (just port-a-potties), bar didn't have any change but wouldn't take card, super hard to find if you've never been before. overall a good time. Way too hot inside, no AC, inexperienced and not enough bartenders, takes 30 minutes to grab a drink, beer is not cold. Bathrooms are great, parking is big but a bottleneck means you will wait at least 20 minutes to get in ans God knows how long to get out. Wonderful place for concerts The I was there, a full moon rose above the river flowing right next to Hangar and the picture of it reflected in the water. a trully magical experience Amazing, cant wait to go again! It’s not very big place, but it was enough for really awesome atmosphere. It has not very good location though It's hard to get there. Google Maps doesn't show you a clear route. Dorćol is a wretched place anyway. Here's a route where it's not shown in Google Maps for getting here easier: First get to Trg Republike where you see the busses 44, 37 where behind you is the final/starting station of 27 (and a few others). Also behind you is a shop called Army Shop. Go inside 44 and travel to the station called Železnička rampa. Exit there and go straight or you can also open Maps and enter the location where it'll take you about 7-9 minutes of walking. Do keep this in mind: 44 is a little rare. Keep in mind it's arrivals. If 44 isn't coming any soon, follow the Maps/Moovit route for 37. The route for 26 is currently moved to another city and Maps shows a location where the station no longer exists.
