There are bins and you can fill and empty so all good. It is not a long walk to the Lucca town walls and there is a Lidl and Conad supermarket not too far about wa 15 min walk. Don't drive your van to them though as their car parks are small. Lots of places. Short walk to the centre. No electricity, but only €10. Great little stop..only 10 mins into Lucca..amazing food..lovely little back streets, perfect for meandering around..could stay here for a few days. Spacious and very convenient location close to Lucca’s old town. Quiet at night, with all essential services: grey water disposal, cassette toilet emptying, and drinkable water refill. There are also separate containers for plastic and organic waste. The area is clean, safe, and well-maintained. All of this for €10 per 24 hours — great value! We stop here every time we visit Lucca. Perfect stopover to visit Lucca which is amazing but also if you want to go to Pisa but don’t want to drive your motorhome there, you can get the bus from Lucca for 5.50 euro return and it’s a half hour bus journey. Left our camper for 3 hours in the afternoon to return to find the passenger door forced and everything inside rifled through. Laptop/ tablet phone ladies coat and small change all missing.
