I am giving a combined score of 3 although this place still remains one of the best to swim and train while in Viareggio. As a long-standing client, I am very disappointed with the management of the swimming pools. Gym is 5/5 with a welcoming team and new equipment. Lovely to see the ocean while training. Swimming are 1/5 . It’s such a shame to see these wonderful with green water and long algae in mid July. It seems like the and their filter system have not been cleaned before the summer. It is gross. Showers and changing rooms are nice but some showers are broken and leaking like rain. They need to be fixed ASAP. As for previous reviews the young lady at the reception is lovely, while the pool lifeguard is quite useless. There is no in-house understanding of swimming pool chemistry or willingness to pay someone that does. The cleaning is real bad. Finally although and gym are managed by different companies, it’s weird that these don’t collaborate to make a combined deal where the client can use both facilities for a comprehensive offer. That would be an incentive for more clients to join, considering the location and potential of the place - which is unfortunately wasted at the moment. Great place to swim and go to the with 4 clean Pagare 50 euro per due sdraio ed un lettino la settimana di ferragosto ci può stare considerando che la struttura e' stata ristrutturata recentemente e la distanza tra i vari ombrelloni e' superiore alla media degli altri stabilimenti ma non poter utilizzare il bar ma farsi dire dalla ragazza alla reception di andare al bagno adiacente perché c'e' un evento nella piscina l'ho trovata una scorrettezza e di conseguenza i giorni successivi siamo andati allo stabilimento adiacente ed abbiamo pagato anche meno. Prezzo esagerato, molto scarso, abbiamo prenotato per una cabina con bagno , alla fine ci hanno lasciato uno senza e il prezzo è uguale, senza nessun spiegazione. Finalmente una nuova gestione!!! ☺️ Siamo stati lo scorso weekend presso il Bagno Balena e siamo rimasti entusiasti rendendoci conto che è stata effettuata un’ importante ristrutturazione, in primis per quanto riguarda le piscine, davvero spettacolari e per tutti i gusti. Anche per quanto riguarda le postazioni in spiaggia siamo rimasti soddisfatti, poiché sono comode, spaziosissime e ben attrezzate. In fine il personale offre un servizio gentile e attento. Bagnini attenti anche alla sicurezza degli ombrelloni. Se siete con amici potete ammortizzare il costo dell’ombrellone o gazebo. 👍👍👍 very nice private if you are looking for nice roomy cabanas, with wide space between each other on a quiet beautiful beach. the fact that the pool and the restaurant/bar are not operating right now may have a role in it being calm and roomy, but these aren't a problem for us at all. the team operating it is super nice (even by the already high Italian standard!) the location is excellent the is clean and the swim watcher is super friendly and professional. There were only two opened, althought at the entrance was written that the are opened. The are not very clean. In the women changing room there was not one functioning toilet from 4 toilets. We have found a functioning toilet near the bar but it smelled so bad that my little daughter had to go out immediately. We will not go there a second time, I do not recommend this Club.
