This is a lovely not too big, neither too small Planetarium in Burgas. It is not only for and students in physics, but also for adults and seniors too. I took some old ladies too,and they told me that with this planetarium they went back to their childhood and felt wonderful. We had only 30 minutes before the pause, but still was fun. Visit it if you got some time. It is definitely worth it. Small and limited, still great selection of educational experience-yourself "toys", very instructive, organized and clean, definitely recommended visit for 6-12 years old, but not limited to those. It's OK for spare some time with your and teach them some interesting facts . crooked and ugly! looks more like a crashed UFO than a new modern creation! typical of our municipal non-administration! I didn't go inside. I feel it's a good spot to take pictures outside:) This is a science center/museum where kids/people can learn how electricity is created. It contains several instalations/devices that could be operated. It is well made and interactive. There is a café and a gift shop as well as a corner for playing. There is also a "planetarium" outside. It is beautifully made with a creative approach. It truly follows the example of similar museums in Europe. As many other things in Bulgaria this place looks good as an idea but it is already halfway ruined by bad management and lack of professionalism. Some of the are broken or parts of them are missing. The café does not work at all. The gift shop does not exist. The staff needs special mention - they absolutely could not care less about the visitors. The lady at the reception rolled her eyes when a new person entered. We didn't know if we need a ticket for the Planetarium or the science centre or for both and she didn't care to explain what exactly do they offer there. When asked she said something like "whatever". We ended up only visiting the science centre. Another lady there was huffing and puffing and demonstrating how annoyed with visitors she was. She was again rolling her eyes and switching off the the second a kid moves away from them. Not discreetly, but making a huge deal out of it. They started mopping the floor in front of us even if there was more than an hour before the closing time. Both ladies look like they HATE their job and make visitors uncomfortable (probably on purpose). And to defend my fellow Bulgarians who might get blamed about the broken devices: I have been in similar museums around the world where everything is available to touch and play with. Millions of people are visiting those places and the are kept in good condition. Here the are either not thoughtfully created or not well-maintained. The museum is created for and everything should be durable. There is no excuse to just leave broken stuff around and not maintain it in the high touristic season. The most irresponsible organization. We came here three times for a hundred kilometers. Were closed for an unknown reason. Changed the schedule. Suddenly came up with a day off. Do not answer calls and mail. Go south! It is nice and cheap, unfortunately, too few installations. Worth visiting, would need an hour to go around. Fun for and parents! Similar to other places built in the last few years - the only reason that this place exist is stealing EU funds. No maintenance, nothing new, uninterested staff, cafe not working. I am changing this from 4 to 2 stars. Well, the idea is nice: Different experiments for school and pre-school children, some exhibition, a playing area for small, a building and drawing area for school children. But ... The usual Bulgarian problem appears here as everywhere: Nothing is repaired. We are here for the fifth or fourth year. Every year something else is missing from the experiments or is damaged in some way. Why is nothing ever replaced? Also, why is there not a small cafe to get the parents something to drink (and spend money on)? Why is it so strict with only up to four year old are allowed in the playing area? Even if there are no other children? Why is there no real guide to find the place? You either have to know what you are doing or really dedicated to walk this long at the pier in the sun across some construction sites to find it. How can this place support its employees? Very cool science museum for and not only, it is interesting for adults as well. Doesn’t have that many attractions as a number, but the ones there are, they’re very interesting. Everything is well done and working interestingly. Maybe a little bit more explanations about the will be better. Nice little museum with a section for toddlers and babies. It has interesting activities for from 4-5 year old. Great views to the harbour. Highly recommend it! They presented it to us as a museum for all categories but soon found out it was a scam. Also lots of things are destroyed inside and left without repair. Extremely entertaining for of all ages including 2 year olds.Helpful staff and plenty other things to see and do around.
