I’m not here to review their alcohol & drinks quite yet. I’m here to say how cute and lovely my little stay was in their glamping barrels! 😍🏕 🌻 You can find them on AirBnB. The lodging is called “Sleep Barrel” and hosted by Philipp. 🏕 Funny enough, it’s a cute glamping like experience, but it’s NOT in the middle of nowhere. There’s literally a lidl and things like maybe a 2 min drive away. It’s still nice and quiet here though. They were even nice enough to provide me with an umbrella because it was raining. It was waiting for me when I returned from dinner. Excellent customer service. 💯☔️ 👩‍🌾 Small little farming setup/distillery? I think that’s what Destillathalle means. There was definitely some sort of small alcoholic bottle waiting for me when I arrived. Love it when places leave little gifts! Although I’m glad I had the foresight to sniff it before I tried using it to take my nightly medication. 🤣 That would have been a surprise! 🫢 🥂 They have a small fridge with drinks you can purchase as you wish. Including wine! Their instructions also asks you to tell them if you would like anything else. When I arrived, I rang the doorbell and the lady who came to get me spoke English very well and was super kind. It looks like they make their own because it all looks homemade. 🥰🍏 🥳 It appears that they have a nice setup for hosting get togethers and parties. Their Google photos also confirm this. 🎃 I came to check out the Ludwigsburg Pumpkin display/festival outside of the Ludwigsburg Gardens & Palace. 🍷 So many wineries nearby. I took a moment to look and they are all rated over 4.5 on Google. 🛏 Just a cute little place to lay my head and pretend I’m in the middle of nowhere. 😴 📍About 2 hours away from Kaiserslautern and 17 mins away from the Pumpkin Fest. Fantastic place to stay in your campervan. The hosts are amazing and super friendly. Facilities are excellent and they even have produce and drinks for sale on site. Perfect. Wir waren übers Wochenende mit unserem Van da und haben einen ganz wundervollen Stellplatz bekommen. Toilette und Dusche sind sehr schön eingerichtet und von Seife bis Klopapier alles da. Mit dem Fahrrad sind es gute 30 Minuten nach Ludwigsburg und der Hof liegt unweit diverser Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Zusätzlich gibt es Automaten mit Eis, Grillzeug und eigenen Erzeugnissen und die Familie Krügele sind wirklich außerordentlich nette und zuvorkommend Gastgeber! Great if you like small campsites, really quiet but near enough for supermarkets, facilities etc We stayed here to attend a festival in Ludwigsburg. The hosts are very friendly and accomodating. The facilities were clean and the camping plots are comfortable and quiet. There are vending machines available 24/7 with locally made sorbet, wine, juice, and spirits. Stuttgart is about a 30 minute drive away. Tip Top Wir waren hier für eine Nacht unter der Woche mit unserem Wohnmobil und konnten einen wunderbaren Stellplatz auf den Obstwiesen ergattern. Wir wurden super nett empfangen. Sanitäranlagen sauber, modern, gepflegt, man merkt dass hier viel Herzblut reinfließt. Dank der tollen Lage einfach zu erreichen. Wir haben vorher angerufen, das wäre von Mittwoch auf Donnerstag aber nicht zwingend notwendig gewesen. Für 25€ die Nacht inklusive Strom für zwei Personen eine klare Empfehlung!! Wir waren mit dem VW-Camper eine Nacht vor Ort und durften uns alleine zwischen die Apfelbäume stellen! Die Gastgeber sind super nett und erklären alles. Die Sanitäteranlagen sind neu und sauber. Unser Highlight war auch der kleine 24/7-Verkaufsraum, in dem man Schnaps, Eis, Gemüse und vieles mehr kaufen konnte! Für 25€ pro Nacht für zwei Erwachsene braucht man da nicht zweimal überlegen.
