Did the tour around the beautiful and historic town. Got off and wandered to a beautiful square where there was a huge street market, also saw 3 weddings at the city hall while we were there. Beautiful cathedral you can visit in the main square also a fantastic gelato shop which made the most amazing gelato!!! Would go back in a heartbeat. 5 stars – Perfect stop with the beach just around the corner We stopped in Cádiz on a cruise and were really surprised how close everything was. The city center is right by the port, and best of all: the beach is just a short walk away. No shuttle, no stress – just grab your things and go. We spent the day with our kids at the beach, and it was honestly perfect. It’s clean, not overcrowded, and at low tide we found loads of beautiful shells – the kids loved it. The water is calm and great for a little splash, even for smaller children. Cádiz itself has a lovely, relaxed vibe. You can easily walk around the historic streets, grab a coffee, and still be back at the ship without ever feeling rushed. For anyone stopping here on a cruise, especially with family, I’d absolutely recommend spending the day at the beach. It’s simple, beautiful, and right there.
