Unfortunately I couldn't go in to the Bull Ring due to maintenance work being undertaken. I had to smile at the ticket office where locals were purchasing tickets for the events later in the month - hardly inviting are they! Excellent bull ring, shame there is only one bar/restraunt close by If you think torture is entertaining, you should be put in the ring yourself. One on one and see how it goes. We knocked on the door today on the off chance of seeing inside and the kindest senor I have ever met gave us a guided tour of the entire arena, including the mini surgery room, bull scales, pens waiting, areas etc and a full briefing of the history of the place. We were not expecting any of it. The pride this man had in his arena was so lovely to see. I get it that the sport is not everyone's cup of tea but from a cultural and historical perspective I could not rate this enough. Says open on a Monday... It was shut!!!
