The hosts, Mrs. Elisabeth and Mr. Gilles are so kind and caring. We stayed in Chambre Ossau and everything matched with the description on the website, rooms are clean and it has got everything which you need for a comfortable stay. The view from the room is stunning. The breakfast served is home made and super delicious. If you are in this area, this is the place to stay. Highly recommended and super duper value for money. We had a lovely here. Elisabeth is a great host and the dinner she made for us was really good, highly recommended. We were spoiled with a very nice breakfast too. The rooms were well appointed, clean and the whole place has a really nice ambiance. We slept very well. We would not hesitate to again. The chateau is a museum of fascinating art, collectibles and oddities - and the large rooms even more so. If available dine in. Mdr. Elizabeth prepares exquisite dinners. Absolutely adored staying in this Chateau. It is full of spectacular treasures and works of art that are truly enchanting. What an absolutely stunning chateau. We stayed here as a large family and had the entire chateau rented. All of the rooms are absolutely stunning with superb attention to detail. Each room has its own theme and is executed flawlessly. We stayed in the Chambre Empire and felt like we were staying in a real castle. The hosts were absolutely incredibly and really went above and beyond.. plus there were puppies! The also included a wonderful breakfast with many home made items.
