No se puede visitar por libre, y sólo existen visitas guiadas en francés, ni audioguías, ni se puede utilizar la audioguía de webs paralelas en la visita guiada, nosotros llevábamos auriculares individuales cada uno y no nos dejaron. Todo amabilidad y facilidades. Tampoco hay mucho más que ver. La iglesia de San Martín no merece la pena y la de Sain Jacques, tampoco. En cualquier pueblecito de alrededor verás cosas mejores. Pau, hast nunca! I went to the tourism office looking for information about outdoor activities in the Pyrenees as a solo traveller and by public transport. Was told that there are no organised trips even though I've since seen numerous companies that go including some that are advertised outside the tourism office. Then was given information about buses that go to the Pyrenees, allowing me to do a day hike. Got to early, waited for the 7.33 bus, turns out it doesn't go on a Saturday. Really bad advice all round. Cecile and Paul are wonderful and very helpful, with love and kisses! Huge amount of info about the region and very knowledgeable staff proud to explain the richness of the region. Amazing staff. Super friendly and helpful. They have amazing knowledge and have really nice souvenirs. Very helpful and provided plenty of information and advice on Pau and surrounding areas for our long stay in Pau. You and your colleague( is it Stephane? ) helped us with every request that we had, to make our stay so full and enjoyable! The piece de resistance was the Casse-croute Vinerone at Chateau Jolys. You knew it would suite us and it did. It was especially good for my husband who is somewhat handicapped. He could walk there easily. It was a pleasure to meet you both at the Tourist Office.
