Short 4 night break. Weather not brilliant but it is November! The itself was excellent value. Large living/dining area. Well equipped kitchen. 2 bedrooms but only using 1 for sleeping (bags stored in 2nd). Small bathroom but decent size shower with water pressure. Added bonus of en-suite toilet and wash basin in main bedroom. The double bed seems larger than others we have stayed in which does mean very little space on one side but loads of room on the other side. As well as power sockets, they also incorporate phone charging ports. Central heating in our van (saver model) which was lovely to wake up to a nice warm caravan. All in all z cheap break away Normal static rental Site and is next to bird sanctuary. very nice place Also a mobile van so they're can be busy times it gets full It has all the normal stuff haven site's have in all sites. Pool, arcades, shows food halls etc. The kids i saw seemed to enjoy shows.. The food is basic and ok nothing to write home about. It's about a 15 min drive to the sea front. Fourth Haven we have stayed at and I don't think it's up to their usual standard. Location is for getting to Blackpool and the nature reserve is really nice with some interesting wildlife. It was a reasonable price and the staff are lovely. The negatives: - caravans are really jammed in here - there's litter from the on the nature reserve which is a real shame and they need to get on top of that! - facilities here are not - small kids parks and feels a bit dated - cleanliness isn't great, our and the hall both had a wet mop/damp smell which is unpleasant. Could see in our all the mirrors had been cleaned with the same dirty cloth. My you gest said the pillows smelt like 'grans house' 😂 - for a silver our van lacked the usual polished look you get with that grade. No frying pan, en-suite toilet so small and crammed we actually couldn't t use it as your knees hit the sink while you sat on the toilet. Curtains falling off the rail. Everything just needs a bit more attention I think..of come again, but only in cheap weeks. It's overall, but I wouldn't like to visit during kids holidays as I feel like the facilities are not big enough to handle a busy site. The kids was but delayed some nights leaving a lot of kids needing to be quiet for bingo which wasn't a fun experience for anyone with a toddler. The saver was nice and clean but 2 pillows were missing pillow cases, the lock didn't work properly on the door meaning it took a 5/10 minutes just to get in or out. The bathroom had quiet and odour even though it looked clean and a lot of stains on the sofa cushions. But overall we had a time, spent most off as not a deal to keep a toddler busy. We had a break here last month. was spotless. Reception staff were great. Only downside was we ordered a wheelchair accessible van but didn't get it. We absolutely had the best Got back yesterday from here yesterday yet again a lovely week been going for a few years now ☺️ this was our 3rd trip this year ! Always have no problem with our trips however! Not keen this on our location of our silver van on mere view however we understand this is our preference not everyone's taste, had a problem within the to which we reported to a lady on reception who didn't seem interested # however!! Our Knight in shining armour the lovely Shane!! Who deserves a massive thanks for helping us x who resolved the issue again thanks Shane 😊 no other problems always enjoy our stay,we will next choose where we want to stay in think, the bus trip through lights was a idea too 😀 see you next guys We visited Marton Mere recently for the first and really liked the site. Our was a very high standard, spacious and comfortable. The amenities were more than adequate for our needs, although some fresh vegetables in the shop would be appreciated. We found the club enjoyable and liked the arcade. However we thought there should be more play parks throughout this very large site. Overall a few days break away and our compliments go out to all of the staff we met, who were courteous, helpful and pleasant. Thanks for a wonderful xx Just got back from a weekend away, loved the fact it is located a short driving distance from Blackpool pleasure beach and zoo. The itself was clean however we didn’t have bed linen for one of the beds and we did mention this to reception which never got sorted the TV was horrendous had lines throughout it so impossible to watch a programme and if you was thinking it’s ok you can just go on your phone nope wrong again as the signal was none existent, you should be able to buy a WiFi/data package like Parkdean, our play pass wasn’t in the either which we had to go and get ourselves, within 5mins of arrival at the area we witnessed two people being escorted out by security with a lot of shouting and then there was a police van outside one of the caravans and the is quite loud late into the night with people walking past shouting/arguing playing music, the amenities weren’t up to scratch especially if you have been to (Hafan y mor) if you want to go to the you need to get there early as there wasn’t many seats left by 8pm. The arcade area is small to be honest the whole area food/drink/swimming/arcades feels really compact. Staff appeared happy and pleasant when chatting to them. Overall you pay for what you get, the itself I found to be worth £150 for 3 nights which I paid however paying for the play pass wasn’t as we only went swimming and once. We wouldn’t come back to this one again but will definitely be looking at other haven sites. Stayed here for a few days with my sister, the first night we was situated near a noisy road in a Silver. We took this up the morning after and was immediately moved into a big gold on Mere View!😍 we had two Autistic children with us and they was very accommodating, I asked reception if I could book this same when I visit in July and they guaranteed this with no additional charge! Safe to say this will always be my go to! Thankyou to all the staff and my complimentary upgrade for next year😍 Our holiday experience was delightful, and the was impeccably clean. We thoroughly enjoyed the entertainment🎶🎉, particularly the show and bingo😁. The receptionists was fantastic they welcome us with a smile✨️😍 and efficient service. We intend to return, as the staff provided exceptional service😍, with the exception of a few individuals in the arcade who could benefit from improving their customer-facing demeanor, specifically their body language and willingness to smile.
