When you try to find it you will surely think you got lost. But when you enter you immediately understand that you stepped into a different world. Izzi has more open bottles than Milroy’s of London and GoodSpirit of Budapest have combined. Rarities and special bottlings. Things even seasoned entusiasts never heard of. The owner is an expert guide in the realm of - always having that extra bottle you don’t expect. And the prices? Incredibly good. This is a place every enthusiast must visit. An overwhelming amount of quality Irish and Scotch whiskies, 800+! But also perfect for enjoying a simple beer and a shot, or a fabulous Irish coffee. Whether they have live music, a cocktail night, or a high-end tasting, the atmosphere is warm and cozy. I always feel at home. But do not worry even if you are not a fan, you can still have a pint of beer, glass of wine or shot of whatever and enjoy the cosy atmosphere of the place. Very wide range of whiskies available to taste and learn about. The owner is a expert with a great knowledge and experience, so you may end up talking for hours while enjoying those great drams. For lovers they even provide tastings with various topics where you may find out even more. Total must go/must see type of place and it is definitely worth the travel even though it is not in the centre of the city. Believe me, youre gonna love it and return :) I was blown away by the Irish selection! They might have over 300 bottles of JUST Irish whiskey. The owner, Peter, will walk you through your taste profile like a cheese monger would walk you through camemberts!
