I've had much better beers in Denmark, these were just average. The kitchen ran out of chicken nuggets. Was served by a friendly elderly couple at this cosy cafe. Ordered chicken, beef burger and a fish fillet side. Burger bun and beef was on the tough side and fries were too salty for my liking. Americano came mistakenly as something else with milk 😂 . Price on the high side Surprisingly good food and service. We walked in expected typical tourist budget café food, but we're very pleasantly surprised. The burgers had homemade buns with tons of flavor, but still soft and fluffy. The chili burger was not just 4 jalapeños, but actual chili dressing, chilies etc. Pancakes were fluffy and delicious and the rest of the food in the party was equally done to a much higher standard than the typical café does. Local was better than a Tuborg, but honestly not to our palate, too many citrus sours in the mash. Service was fantastic. Friendly, helpful, without being in your face. Atmosphere is nice, sound is very good, tables and chairs comfortable. All in all, absolutely recommend, we'll be back next time we're in Jelling! Great place with local crafted beer. Half sandwich is recommended. They also have kids menu Délicieux déjeuner fish and chips, burger, fish et crevettes! Accueil très sympathique. Very nice place, really delicious food. Very kind and multi language service. And there is a nice corner for the kids to play. The place has also from a local micro brewery which is very good beer. We're coming back for sure one day. Good burger and great from their home micro brewery, whats not to like! Super cosy atmosphere, very friendly staff 😀 Tried the nachos and half-sandwiches and they were beyond delicious and reasonably priced too. Offers English menus and free WiFi as well. Five stars!
