A very tough course, great value for money....well maybe, it can cost you alot of balls lol Some aspects of course criss / cross, a bit off putting. Overall, good experience and challenge, thanks. Gem of a place, surrounded by some of the best golf in the world but at a fraction of the price. Par 66. I recommend buying the course guide for €8, it makes the course a little easier to navigate with some of the blind tee shots. This baby-links (par is 66) is not a bad course although there are a few caveats. For €40 on weekends I would say the condition of the fairways and course is subpar (very patchy grass, uneven growth, lots of ground-under-repair and poor drainage). The course also has lots of criss crossing between holes which can make play concerning with other players balls whizzing by quite close at times. Greens are similarly patchy, uneven and cut poorly which does limit the playability at times. Many tee boxes have mats to hit off due to very poor grass which is really not acceptable on a €40 course. Fences are falling over, tee box markers look exhausted, bins broken, protective ball nets are worn/have holes and overall the atmosphere is very tired. Lots of work needed from management and grounds keepers. As a course it is quite nice with lots of blind drives and shots along with some very deep rough that will certainly steal stray balls! Good views too. Seven par 3 holes does make it quite short though. Overall the course is ok but not worth €40 a person on weekends. Try get a cheaper fee on weekdays and the poor maintenance won’t be such a bother. Corballis is by far the best bang for your buck when it comes to epic courses in Ireland. It was a great experience. I’d love to visit again in the future. The course was challenging. I’m very amateur and was happy to play. Had a blast. Definitely some high grass to lose some balls, but the views are incredible and the course is in good shape. The staff is extremely hospitable and some of the golfers we met were very cool as well. Most under-rated golf course I’ve played! Absolute pure, natural beauty with an underlying ruggedness that makes one pay attention to every shot. The course is shorter than most, but boasts seven of the funnest set of par 3s you’ll find. The staff were very friendly and the scenery was spectacular! Great fun course. If you get a chance, play it but play it twice! You need to know where you are going! The fairways were a bit rough after a prolonged drought but that’s nature I guess. Great place for the money, some beautiful land especially the opening 9. Great proximity to the airport for a round at the beginning or end of a trip. Members were great, I was paired with Brendan and Phillip and they couldn’t have been warmer to a visitor, thanks lads. My wife and I recently had the pleasure of golfing here in April, and it was an incredible experience! Norman in the shop was exceptionally nice and friendly. He not only provided us with valuable advice about the course but also engaged us in great conversation, making us feel truly welcome. The course itself was in fantastic condition, and we had a blast playing. The layout of the holes presented a perfect balance of challenge and enjoyment. The views were absolutely breathtaking, and we were lucky to have fantastic weather that day, which made the experience even more memorable. Overall a wonderful course, and we can't wait to come back and play again. Highly recommend!
