Top 10 in Sweden of beaches. Definitely recommend this place. Huge and off season you will have the closest 100m for your self. Good parking and ice cream sold on the beach. We will be back! Look at this sand! Beautiful! And the water is nice; cold, but nice! Very nice place to visit and to camp. Very close to Visby. You cannot even park your car , all in Swedish language , you need an app, you cannot ready , I could not even go the the , I could not understand how to pay the parking !!!!! Nice beach, need public toilet. Vi älskar det🥰 Bra strand med tillgång till toa. Dock finns inga soptunnor vilket ställer till det för latmaskar. Tänk om folk klarade av att ta med sig skräpet tillbaka! Fin sandstrand Amazing which was totally ruined by tourism. Overpriced parking, loud annoying music everywhere and no bathrooms outside the tourist trap restaurants. There are so many untouched places on Gotland... Just avoid this one unless you're a Stockholmer who needs a selfie with a fancy cocktail for their Instagram. Great place, very nice beach, but no changing cabins Fin strand men mycket folk! Hundbad i södra delen. The is so nice and clear with white sand. Only few people were there as it’s not high season yet. Beautiful beach, warm in the dunes, even on a relatively windy but sunny day. Felt like we were back in Thailand with the white and clear water 😄 Always good. I have never been to Tofta Beach, but ever since I looked for directions there on Google Maps, Google has been nagging me to write a review. So here is something that could have been true: I spent a full day at Tofta during my trip to Gotland, and honestly, it was one of the highlights of the entire vacation. The is soft and golden, the kind you actually enjoy walking barefoot on, and the water is surprisingly warm for the Baltic — shallow enough to wade in for ages without freezing, which is a win in Sweden! The was lively but not overcrowded. Families, couples, and surfers all had their space. There were a few bars and cafés right off the — I grabbed a cold drink and a light lunch without having to leave the area. Everything had a relaxed, Scandinavian summer vibe. What I especially liked was how clean and well-kept the whole area was. The bathrooms were decent (always a gamble at beaches), and we even found some shaded spots under the pines just off the when the sun got too intense. It’s a great mix of nature and convenience. If you’re into activities, there’s more than just swimming and sunbathing — we saw people playing volleyball, and there was even a surf rental shack. I didn’t try the surfing myself, but it was fun to watch. Pro tip: come earlier in the day if you want a good spot near the water, especially during the weekend. Also, check out the nearby Viking village if you want to mix in a little history with your day. Highly recommend — Tofta gave me everything I wanted from a Swedish summer experience. Would absolutely go back! In fact, I'm going there in August for the very first time. Looking forward to it after this beaming review.
