Sve pohvale Highly recommend to visit this theatre. Theatre has museum which is open during day time for visitors, but watch the play, or opera on the main stage is experience itself. Tickets are selling out fast, so sometimes compromise on the has to be made. Certain plays have English subtitles, on the website it can be checked. Prices depend on the play & sitting place. Smaller stage "Rasa Plaovic" offers as well great pieces and ticket price is more affordable. If this review helped you make a decision, like it and follow us here and on instagram @travel.journalista Although it is one of the oldest theaters in the centre capital of Serbia, it is necessary to arrange shabby rugs and carpets, and chairs. The untruths that you get when you buy tickets, that there are no tickets, later it turns out that this is not the case. Many remain empty because are kept for individual actors, city or state rulers, I’m not sure. You are not allowed to move and empty spaces remain throughout the evening. The hostess girls are reluctant to be up to them, the managers also refuse to meet you.The in the II and III galleries are so uncomfortable that you can't see even half of the stage if you are sitting. Of course, they convince you that there are no tickets. That needs to be checked. So stay 3.4 hours (as long as the show lasts.) And look at the empty all evening. That is unacceptable. Nice place, maybe small a bit, but cosy. Must to visit, and not only for tourists, but for the locals too. A stunning gem in the heart of Belgrade! The National Theatre is not only a masterpiece of architecture—especially beautiful when lit up at night—but also a cultural hub that breathes history and elegance. The façade is majestic, and the atmosphere around it is lively yet classy. Although I didn’t attend a performance, just standing outside and taking in the view was a memorable experience. It’s well worth a visit whether you’re a lover of the arts or simply exploring the city. Highly recommended for photography and a taste of Serbian culture! I enjoyed an amazing of Le Corsaire here. Though the theater is small, the artists’ was outstanding, and the ticket prices were very reasonable. If you’re visiting Belgrade, don’t miss a show at this theater! Be sure to buy in advance, as popular performances often sell out on the day. We went to see Le Corsaire. It was simply brilliant. If you have a few days in Belgrade, make sure to spare an evening for the Theater. Great place to visit not only for tourists but also if you live here. I came for The Nutcracker and it was good. My advice — do not take the in Galeria II, better in Galeria I or ground floor. The one this was a total disappointment — is desynchronized dancing. This is the beauty in when you can see terrific technique of dancing, but here especially when it was a group dance — without synchronization it looked like a crowded stage. But i loved this ballet, music was amazing as it had to be. Come see yourself. Very nice theater and opera house. Classical style. We saw a theater piece, so I cannot judge the accoustics for opera or concerts. Da li bismo mogli znati kada ce se na kraju predstava glumci prestati baviti politickim aktivizmom, kako bismo mi sto ne zelimo ucestvovati u tome, mogli nastaviti dolaziti u pozoriste i uzivati u predstavama? We went to watch “The nutcracker” on Christmas day or night specifically and we found our half an hour before the started and even though the spots were awful, but we knew, the was amazing! The theatre could be a bit bigger with better arrangement and photos and videos could also be allowed! All in all, a great experience! Από έξω το κτίριο περνάει σχεδόν απαρατήρητο.... Μέσα είναι όλη η ομορφιά!!! I had an incredible experience. I would like to thank the actors and everyone who contributed to the show. I wish you continued success Went to a great Opera Gala yesterday. Great singers, orchestra and choir. And reasonably priced too! Interesting theatre with a beautiful architecture! Ballet, operas and drama, everything at the same place, you can check on Instagram is in front of the theatre! Picture: Italo Oliveira, dancer at the theatre! I attended the "Reflex" at the National Theatre in Belgrade. Friendly and highly professional staff. The opera hall is relatively small. Masterpiece of art (also music) with solid conceptual framework. Highly recommended.
