From the hill near to Walberla you get the better of the whole Plateau. It is ideal for a breakfast Picknick trip with almost no visitors at 07:00 am😊 Walberla is a fantastic spot for hiking and enjoying nature. The views from the top are breathtaking, offering panoramic sights of the surrounding countryside. The trails are well-maintained and suitable for all levels of hikers. A perfect place for a peaceful day out in nature. We even caught some paragliders and saw “the Lion King” at the top. 😍 There are different ways to climb up, depending on if you want easy or a bit steeper way. It's a great lace to have a great of surroundings from both sides. If you like picnics, you can enjoy a nice one here, too. Amazing point. Its basically a cycle track and there are different paths taking you the point. You can park your car near the Gasthaus zum Walberla as there is a parking space there. But if you dont have a car then you can come by train to the station Kirchehrenbach and then from there walk upto the Gasthaus. Basically it is the starting point of the hike. Some trails are a little difficult for families. Taking kinderwagon is a real effort because it is quite steep. So avoid it instead take a child carrier. Do take a picnic blanket if you want to stay for a while and absorb the beauty. There you can see experts paragliding on their own. And if you take the difficult path that is more steep and doesn’t have a smooth road then you need good shoes. All in all its a great place to visit and enjoy a calm atmosphere.
