Lovely stretch of with views of the mainland and fort boyard,lots of it is fenced off and sign posted for ground nesting birds so be aware and keep off these areas.. still loads of room for a towel.. Lovely for alle ages. Beautiful scenery, aminities (toilettes) and parking places. Visited on a very wet day in May, but despite the weather the was wild and beautiful and we had the place to ourselves. There was a small beach-side cafe which was open (despite the terrible weather) so we grabbed a drink. There are also a number of colour huts which make for a nice photo opportunity. There is a small amount of parking and there are public toilets. Lovely sandy with parking and picnic area in forest, the toilets are clean but of the dry style could be very different in high season. Is a stop on the island summer shuttle bus which is free. There is also one island historic fish traps visible at low tide. Beautiful well worth the trip. Beautiful beaches And cute marina. Low tide goes very low so better in the afternoon l'Atypique is a glorified shack which serves good value tasty food on the front. Cycled there twice for their cheeseburger+frîtes! Great location and lovely staff. Recommended! Came for the Firework show. Was a lot of fun. The view of the other firework shows across the sea added an extra level to the show!
