Found this cozy place in google maps as place with specialty coffee, because it is hard to find ones in Peniche and around. So - there it is - best coffee! Very tasty, I always order cappuccino on oat milk and my boyfriend — latte. It’s a pleasure to ride a bike in the morning to get breakfast here - not many positions - only toast with tomato, pesto and mozzarella, toast with avocado and yogurt with granola and fruits — but delicious! I was there for a live Band playing in the court which was awesome A pleasant place to stop by for a and snack. was and a slice of banana bread to go with was even better! I also quite liked their ginger lemonade. The place overlooks a parking lot - it takes away a little bit from the charm of sitting outside but definitely not a dealbreaker. Super chill vibe. Lot of plugs to work. Nice couches and big terrace. playlist. It has a big parking in front. Could always park (except weekend in August.. ) The waiters are really laid back and nice. Small simple menu perfectly executed! I will come back. We had heard about the banana bread and flat whites. But when we came there was no bananabread or any pastries and the coffees were the worst we have had in Portugal: mostly lukewarm milk with a badly prepared somewhere in it. It was no flat white at all. Hopefully they just had a bad day! Absolutely unrecommendable. Came last Sunday at 10 am, staff was grumpy and told us straight away in an annoyed manner that we at least have to wait 30 min (with a undertone of "guys just don't order and don't dare to give us more work") ..we left to check another place but decided to come back as the other place didn't have proper food. Once we wanted to order we were now told in an even more annoyed manner "I really don't think we can take any more orders for now" they had 6 papers with orders placed in front of them..!? The place wasn't even full. Never happened to me anywhere before that my order was turned away. Just super badly managed and surely not all fault of the staff but the staff in the end still has some responsibility for how they talk to you. The Greek yogurt bowl and the goat cheese toast are amazing and both present like artwork. The staff are always so nice and are playing music! i am disappointed - the is not as good. different beans and different oat milk. washed up has been my go to place when in peniche area: primarily for the speciality which was amazing. plus i love the comfortable seating, music and decor. the is still better than surrounding cafes but not as as it used to be and that is such a loss .
